1. Review printed letters a, n and d and the sound the letter represents.

rice, use shaving cream, oatmeal, barley, etc.)

2. Sort the words that begin with /a/, /n/ and /d/ under each corresponding letter.

Child will look at picture depictions of object that starts with that letter sound, and
orally repeat the phoneme that the teacher audibly tells them.
