    promotion throughout his entire service life.

    2. Suppose an employee has not given an option and his promotion was due on 1st
    January
    2017 with present DNI on 1st April 2017 .After getting the higher scale on
    promotion on 1st
    January 2017,whether the DNI will change to 1st January 2018 or remains the
    same as on 1st
    April 2017.
