2020B engraving machine

Assembly instructions

Brief introduction

2020B engraving machine is an entry-level CNC equipment, its

work area is X-axis 200mm, Y-axis 200mm, Z axis 70mm, the


lower the maximum Z-axis height by 35mm, Y-axis moves to

table movement. Rack in part by 10mm thick PVC plate

processed by CNC milling machine, using M8 threaded stainless

steel triangular screw, screw bearings at both ends fixed. 12mm

diameter light bars, aluminum coupling, three stepper motor is

used imported 42 type, rated current 1.27A, spindle motor used

E240 U.S. production type, rated power 200W, with ER11 collet

professional sandwich diameter 3.175mm.

Assembly sequence
1 Part of screw of return difference eliminate

Put the Eliminate return difference spring rod insert eliminate return difference
nut plate.

Install Eliminate backlash nut under the plate into three axis’s

sliding bearing plates.


The Eliminate backlash spring set into the spring rod, the other

end of the rod and then put consumer backlash nut plate, with

one hand pressed both consumer backlash nut lock plate, tighten

the other hand in the case of compression springs into the screw,

compression spring is generally 2 ~ 3mm is appropriate, too

much compression to run than the laborious, less compressed

eliminate hysteresis effect will be worse.


Install Return difference eliminating well in three axis.
2 Y-axis part

Install Y-axis screw and Return difference eliminating parts

together to Base plate (front), install the screw bearing plate

mounted at the front of the base plate on the stand, if the screw

end load bearing difficulties, you can use emery cloth to screw

terminal proper cleaning.


Then install Optical lever shaft as picture

Base plate (back) install motor base plate(stand)


Put the base plate (rear side) and the base plate (front side) onto the

ends of the Optical lever shaft


Do not over tighten the screws at first, installed base plate (side) and

then tighten

Screw bearing plate fixed in the end seat legislature before the board,

while the vertical screw into the base plate screw bearings
NOTE: leave some space between the base plate and the screw

bearing front vertical plate. Because the thickness of the PVC sheet

is not very uniform, this gap is due to adjustment screw length error

caused by uneven thickness PVC plate, put this gap adjustment

screw neither strings to move, they can be more easily twist on it .


Installed the stepper motor to the motor base plate (horizontal), and

then, install the coupling together with the motor base plate together

(stand).
Thus Y-axis (base) part had loaded it
3,X shaft portion

First screw portion is mounted together with eliminate backlash

to the left vertical panel, note the screw bearings Installed on the

outside of the vertical plate


X-axis light bars fixed to the left side of the board established
Vertical plate Installed on the right side of the first motor base with

(vertical)

Another X-axis slide bearing plate mount light bar, and then loaded

on the right side of the vertical plate


Screw bearing axial position on the right side of the vertical plate is

fixed with a bearing cap, bearing the bearing cap fixed to the right of

the vertical to withstand board


NOTE: leave some space between the cover and the right side

of the vertical screw bearing plate. Because the thickness of the

PVC sheet is not very uniform, this gap is due to adjustment

screw length error caused by uneven thickness PVC plate, put

this gap adjustment screw neither strings to move, rotate and

can be more relaxed.

4, Spindle part

3,Assembly

Z-axis and X-axis part of the partially assembled together, a


total of eight self-tapping screws, up and down the four

With 4 M8 fixing screw nut, adjust the X-axis part of the left
and right sides of the base plate the same distance from rear
side, can be fixed tight.
