A WeLearn Intro to Learning Tech for Youth

WeLearn was designed to prepare our children for a future,

the ideal learning environment for the Digital Age. Students learn
through hands-on activities and projects in a collaborative
environment, where our dedicated mentors help them identify and
explore their passions and develop the skills necessary for 21st
century and beyond. Our goal to embed each WeLearn student
with a deep love for learning in various fields, such as; science,
engineering, math and arts and ability to self-learn. WeLearn offers
learning environment that will encourage responsibility, mastery,
and critical, creative and independent thinking.

On Sat 13 Jan 2018, a National Children’s Day, WeLearn

would like to open the space for children to explore various learning
tech throughout 5 learning stations, which are:

1. ฉันสือ
่ ฉันส่ง (Virtual Reality and Video Production)
Experience google expedition with DIY VR goggles and
learn how to create your video with organized content.

2. ฉันสืบ ฉันเสาะ (Science Detective Game) This is the way to

learn content from the context. Roleplaying as detectives,
students will pick up scientific skills as an observer and
make rational hypothesis. Aside, they will get to use lab

 equipment to test the artifacts and clues to find the thief
that steals some special lollipop.

3. ฉันสรร ฉันสร้าง (3D printing for personalized item) Be proud

with your creation. 3D printing technology is now
accessible for the students to produce their personalized
item. Now they can get the prototype of their design in an
hour.

4. ฉันเล่น ฉันลอง (Marble-Maze Creation) Design your maze

game to achieve maximum fun and creativity. It’s the way
to develop your logical thinking skill, how you create game
rules and condition. You can get your fun game that can
be exchanged with friends to play and learn how to
improve your game from the players’ feedback.

 5. ฉันไม่ได้เล่นคนเดียว (Boardgame) Boardgame is a tool to
improve children's social skills and reinforce positive
character traits. Each game has players discuss the
solutions to socially challenging situations. Together the
group decides upon the best action encouraging all
players to communicate.

Each learning station will take about 60 minutes and

accommodate around 10-12 students. Then students will rotate
to the next station till the end of the program. Coaches
(University faculty members, engineering students, experts in
communication arts and the education activists) at every station
are experienced and well-trained. They will facilitate the
discussion, support students’ ideas and ask questions to probe
students’ motivation and to enhance their critical thinking.
