Concrete joint filler
Product Description GRAND FIBERFILL concrete joint filler is a remolded
rigid impregnated fiber board with a durable asphaltic
compound. GRAND FIBERFILL joint filler is in effect
a pneumatic cushion. Its compressibility and
resilience enable it to deform under pressure without
extruding. It returns to its original thickness as
pressure is removed

Composition GRAND FIBERFILL concrete joint filler is

manufacture from strong bagasse (cane) fibers. The
sheets are uniformly impregnated with a special
asphaltic saturant yielding 35% asphalt content by
weight.

Performance Characteristics
 Compressibility
GRAND FIBERFILL has minute air spaces between
the felted fibers which allow for excellent compatibility.
 Resiliency
GRAND FIBERFILL concrete joint filler returns to
more than 70% of its original thickness after three
applications of pressure.
 excellent for filler strips between adjacent concrete
construction or inserts in concrete such as
manholes and drains.
 Extrusion
GRAND FIBERFILL concrete joint filler extrudes less
than 1/8inch when compressed to 50% of its
thickness.
 Durability
GRAND FIBERFILL concrete joint filler is water
resistant and protected against dry rot and termite
attack.

Recommended Uses
 excellent as an expansion joint material for
driveways, aprons, sidewalks, curb and gutters.

 excellent as an expansion joint material in

highways, airport, runways and streets.

 excellent as filler in structural joints such as

abutments, piers, retaining walls, and plain or
reinforced concrete structures.

disintegration, delamination or separation of filter

conditions.

Toughness
GRAND FIBERFILL stands up under rough handling,
heavy loading or stacking. The material maintains its
shape, thickness and edges under adverse handling
conditions.

Sizes and Thickness

GRAND FIBERFILL sheets are available in various
thickness of ¼ in., 3/8 in., ½ in. and 1 in. Standard
lengths are 5ft and 10ft. Widths are either in 36 in. or
48 in.
