A. Goals
- By the end of the course, students will be able to understand the elements of persuasive
speech and what constitutes “good persuasive speech”
- By the end of the course, students will become aware of the way they do the persuasive
speech and be able to identify the specific areas in which improvement is needed.
- By the end of the course, students will have developed the ability to make a good
persuasive speech draft under the topic of environment.

persuasive speech (environment)
B. Objectives
a. Students will be able to choose a good topic of persuasive speech provided by the teacher
(bullying, environment, social media).
b. Students will be able to brainstorm their ideas to create a good persuasive speech draft.
c. Students will be able to develop their ideas to create a good persuasivespeech draft.
d. Students will be able to use various kind of aids in delivering persuasive speech (video,
ppt slides, pictures)
e. Students will be able to deliver a persuasive speech under the topic of bullying, social
media, and environment with correct pronunciation.
f. Students will be able to deliver a persuasive speech under the topic of bullying, social
media, and environment with correct timbre.
g. Students will be able to deliver a persuasive speech under the topic of bullying, social
media, and environment with appropriate articulation.
h. Students will be able to deliver a persuasive speech under the topic of environment with
appropriate gestures and facial expressions.
i. Students will be able to use the expressions of persuading in their persuasive speech to
persuade the reader.

Intro 1. Opening the course with establishing rapport (greeting, 10 min
classroom checking) and continue with pray lead by one
student.

Main Activity 1. Teacher can ask question to attract students interest 65 menit
on persuasive speech.
Example of question:
a. How do you feel when you are walking in a city
with full of polution?
b. What will you do to reduce that polution?
c. Imagine if you can persuade a lot of people to
use public transportation so we can reduce the
polution.

accordance with the topic (environment) for students
to try out. Example: Environment, nature, rubbish,
atmosphere, climate, creature, disaster, flood,
earthquake, recycle, etc.
