The present simple - generally used to refer to everyday habits that you have, to talk

about activities or routines which take place on a regular basis.

Ex: Tom takes the A train to work every day.


Peter usually gets home at seven in the evening.

Take a look at the following conjugation chart. Notice from the above dialogue and
following chart that the present simple is often used to describe what we do every
day. We use verbs of frequency (always, sometimes, usually, etc.) which indicate a
habit.
