17.4. The work of Precast Panels.

17.4.1. The Scope Of The Work:


This work includes the manufacture, procurement of materials and the
installation of reinforced concrete panel as part of the covering of the
face of the building and is nonstructural and surface ready for the
coating process of paint finishing materials.

17.4.2. Materials:
1. Concrete: precast Concrete Grade for the work is a class K-350, as per
standard PBI 1971 and SK SNI
2. Reinforcement:
Iron reinforcement used not less than 12 mm (BJPT24)
Iron reinforcement used D 12 mm or more should be in accordance
with grade BJTD. 40 (deformed).
3. Steel: iron plate and Plate welded/angle used to fit standard ASTM A
36
4. Product: Beton Elemindo, SCG, Wika.
5. Thick Precast Concrete.
Minimum of 80 mm or according to the calculation of structures

17.4.3. Quality Assurance:


1. The expertise of Fabrication:
a. The entire precast concrete units panel must be produced by a
single manufacturer, which have downloaded specialization on
installation design and manufacture of precast concrete unit-unit
as shown in the picture plan.
b. Manufacturer should propose some personnel with the ability of
each at certain levels, physical facility, quality control
procedures, as well as system management company.
c. Capacity and start of production, a certificate of the results of
the test report must be submitted for review and approval of
the engineer.

2. Expertise on Installation: the company specifically: this Precast


Concrete Erection jobs must have at least 5 years of experience

17.4.4. The Fabrication Tolerances:

a. the overall height and weight

b. thickness: 5 mm

4. Tolerance after in the cast
1/360 the dimensions of the panel or to a maximum of 6 mm

5. Erection Tolerance:
a. Jog in alignment : 6 mm
b. Offset in face : 6 mm
c. Face Joint Width : 4.5 mm
d. Joint Tapes : 1 mm in 480 mm

6. Cracking:
a. Hair Crack: not less than 0.35 mm (width)
b. Non-Structural: no bias is seen by the eyes of visibility 3,000
mm

17.4.5. Fabrication:
a. The contractor is required to submit a proposal to the Board of
directors Field Engineer/Precast Concrete implementation of good area,
the method of casting ways precast elements concrete panels.
The proposal, among others, include:
1. Formwork
2. Concrete Quality
3. the method of Casting/Curin
4. Control Strength for moving and staring the unit
5. the method rather than Handling Unit
6. the method of Numbering and identification Unit

b. Precast concrete units must be in the cast by wearing a very rigid


formwork.
1. Fabrication of concrete must be a minimum compressive
strength power 300 kg/cm ² and filled with
pembesian/reinforcement iron screw (deformed bars)
2. Anchor – iron plates or anchor worn as support structures
precast panelagar overlaid with galvanized s/d 18 micron.
3. The gap between the precast units horizontal/vertical for sealant
(ex GE (IKA)/Dow Corning/Bostik) = back up rod to prevent
leakage of air, water and sound. Polyurethane type (silicone
Sealant) are paintable – single component.
4. Smooth Finished ready painted on both sides.
5. each precast units must be identified by way of numbering
according to the date of execution of the casting/production.

17.4.6. The Provisions Of The Standard:

17.4.7. Preparation:
1. Transport.
Precast concrete manufacturers must use a special trailer design for its
transport. Babysitting against damage due to shock, as well as the
beat the brakes and so on, should be prepared. Sack-filled sacks of
powder/wood shavings or rubber cushion for any place that directly
meet/associated with iron/metal (cable, slang etc.)
2. Delivery, storage and Handling.
a. Shipping precast concrete units to recommended that project
directly mounted. The appointment after a minimum of 15
minutes and a maximum of 2 x 24 hours and must be vertical,
each precast concrete units are sent into the field (site) there
should be a sign/evidence already examined by the quality of
the QS factory.
b. Traler

17.4.8. Implementation (Installation On A Building Structure):


1. before starting the execution of the work, the contractor is required to
first make a shop drawing precast concrete panels complete with:
-Type and looking pieces/façade
-details of the armature
-details of meetings between precast with precast and with other
components.
-measurements and more.
2. All of the precast concrete units must be mounted with the right
puddle galvanize steel, upright and follow the benchmark (Bench Mark)
3. Before mounting, then held the need for measurements in the field and
coordination with other jobs, so the size of the hole (opening) in
accordance with the shop drawing
4. This work must be done at the fabrication workshop complete with
special equipment for this work so that it can produce work that is
appropriate and accurate. When you need, a workshop can be
reviewed by the Planner or the directors of the field.
5. Details on each meeting should be a meeting, neat, flat and free of
defects. Installation method with precast system sits on top of the floor
structure and suspension system or appropriate images.

17.4.9. Repair/Checking:
The work must be directly supervised by a supervisor from the factory.
All defects, the general damages should be reported immediately
the following places are broken.
Preparation for repair should be carried out in accordance with the
the prevailing norms and recommendations of the Board of Directors of
the field.
Methods of drug and mortar to repair should follow standard ASTM,
JIS or PBI.
Repair of concrete surface, rough parts should only be rubbed
with the stone to remove the flawed carboarded-small defects.

17.4.10. Test:
The contractor shall make and give the results of the test/test as
the following:
1. Wind load test
2. Air Leak Test
3. Water Leakage Test (Dynamic/Static Pressure)
4. Test the Sealant
5. This Testing Process should be witnessed by the directors of the
field
