LAB OVEN USER MANUAL :


Section 1:
Product Description:
The AVI make Digital Lab Oven is triple wall construction at bottom. 18 Swg. Thick Mild
Steel Sheet for outer chamber with good quality glass wool insulation to minimize unwanted
heat loss. Asbestos sheet also used for better insulation. Inside chamber duly buffed and
outside chamber powder coated.
Front side double wall door with heavy-duty male female & ball catch-locking
arrangements.
Heating is by Air Heaters on bottom
Heater Rating 1.5 K.W.
The temperature is controlled by a Digital Temp. Controller with an accuracy of ±2°c.

Section 2:
Installation Guideline:
The later part of this section is designed only as a quick guide to setting up your Oven. It is
strongly recommended that all the sections of the Manual are studied to ensure to easy &
reliable operation of unit.
A) Unpack the oven by removing the corrugated packing. In the unlikely
event of any transit damages. It should be reported as soon as possible.
B) The following item are supplied with your new oven Tray 7 nos.
C) In order to use the oven, you will require 230Volts AC, 50Hz Earthen electric
supply. Minimum capacity required 15 Amps per phase (As stated on the
label).
D) The oven is designed to operate at the temp. range of 50°c to 250°c.
E) The supply of the oven will be switched “on “after the connection are checked
& on satisfying that the proper supply current & voltage are available at the
mains.
F) When the oven is switched “on” for the first time after long duration of gap in
two operations, some smokes are likely to issue out of it owing to the combustion
of dust and impurities near the element & the moisture absorbed in storage &
transit.
G) The oven is provided with an efficient system of ventilation. But to get the best
result, it should be always be kept away from other sources of direct draughts of
heat & should not be exposed to direct draughts of air from doors & windows.
H) When drying procedure is going on, the ventilation dust must be open up to half
level, so it will exhaust the unwanted air from the oven.

Section 3:
Front Panel Description:
1. Mains On/ Off Indicator Lamps.
2. Heaters On/Off Indicator Lamps.
3. Digital Temp. Display.
4. 3 Heat switch switch –1 No.

The general principal of operation and display of the control panel are as follows.
A) Mains On/Off Indicator Lamps: It is provided for mains supply to the oven. The
indicators is in “On” position, it means the mains supply is on.
B) Heaters On/Off Indicator: It is provided for indication of heaters On/ Off.
C) Digital Temp. Controller: i) The Digital Temp. Controller consist of three & half
Seven segment display. It is calibrated to display actual temperature in oven or set
temperature depending on the position of the temperature press switch.
ii) Temperature set knob on the controller is for viewing the set temperature, when
it is pressed in normal position of the switch, the actually oven temp. is displayed.
iii) Temp. set knob on the controller is for setting the desired oven temp. Rotating this
Knob on the clockwise direction, increase the set temperature while rotating the
knob in anti-clockwise direction, decreases the set temp.
iv) Energy regulator knob is provided to control On/Off cycle of the controller. Initially
Keep the E/R knob at the middle, it temp. overshoots than the set temperature on
digital display turn the knob anticlockwise & if temp. undershoots than set temp. on
digital display turn the knob clockwise. This fine adjustment will give accurate &
sensitive control.
v) Led marked ‘Relay’ on the controller is for relay status. When it gets illuminated, it
Indicates the heating has been connected to mains.
D) 3 Heat Switches: It is provided for selection of heater rating to be used.

Section 4:
Operating Instruction:
A) Place the Electric oven on the level surface.
B) Open the door & clean the interior by pressurized compressed air.
C) Connect the oven to 230V AC, 50Hz, 15Amp per phase capacity mains supply
Proper Earthen must be provided to avoid unnecessary shock hazard.
C) Put ‘On’ heater on/off switch.
D) Set the desired temperature by pressing the red switch (press to) on the left of
Temp. set knob on the control panel & rotating the set knob in clockwise direction to
Increase the set temp. or anti-clockwise direction to decrease. The set temp. l keep
E/R knob at middle position.
E) When temperature reaches to set level, controlled will start operating. It will make
Heaters on & off and maximum the set temp. With an accuracy of ± 2°c.

Caution: Over must be operated in between voltage range or 200 to 230 only. Running
Of oven beyond this voltage range will discard the warrantee of the unit.
