Counter Draft Resolution for Model United Nations

Topic: On Terrorists Human Rights

The General Assembly,

Alarmed by the growing strength of terrorist groups that pose as a serious threat to

all nations, its citizens including children,

Reaffirming its commitment to preserve freedom, justice and peace in the world, and

to maintain the friendly relations between nations

Reaffirming its strong commitment to combat all manifestations of terrorism in

accordance with the Principles of International Law and the Charter of United Nations,

with recognition of the human rights of all individuals,

Recalling the draft resolution presented by Brazil, Ireland, Philippines, Singapore

and South Africa on terrorist human rights on November, 2017,

Recalling its resolutions on providing a new definition of who should be considered

as terrorists, Considers the amendment of Article 2 of the The Universal Declaration of

Human Rights that terrorist have neither nationality nor citizenship,

Condemning all terrorist attacks that lead to the destruction of economy, public and

private propertes, and in particular, death of innocent civilians,

Bearing in mind that terrorism is unacceptable in all its forms and manifestations,

Recalling the draft resolution presented by Brazil, Ireland, Philippines, Singapore

and South Africa on terrorist human rights on November, 2017,


Recalling its resolutions on providing a new definition of who should be considered

as terrorists, Considers the amendment of Article 2 of the The Universal Declaration of
