This chapter presents the findings, analysis and interpretation of data gathered whose main
objective is to found out the effectiveness of CCTV camera in the safety of the students of Rodriguez
Heights Elementary School. Present data were studied and documents were examined to answer the
questions communicated to the statement of problem. The analytical procedures are arranged according
to the sequence of specific questions.
Data were obtained from self-administered questionnaires with 15 items of question, completed
by 50 respondents including school employees and parents (n=50). A total of 50 questionnaires were
given away and it all retrieved by the researchers. All 50 questionnaires were usable for this study and
met the required inclusion criteria as discussed in the previous chapter.
The questioner comprised of three sections and data generated will be presented as follows;
The first section comprises the demographic data such as age and gender of the respondents.
Descriptive statistical treatment was used to identify frequencies and percentages to answer all
of the questionnaires. All respondents answered all of the questions therefore percentages reported
correspond to the total number of respondents answering the individual questions. The level of
significances was set at 0.05.
Table 1.1 shows the demographic distribution of age and sex of the respondents

Participants were asked to tick the age category appropriate to them. (See table 1.1 above). All
the respondents response to the question (50 responses or 100%). Thirty percent (30%) of the
respondents were in thirty six to forty (36-40) years’ age category fifteen (15) responses the highest rate
of response. Thirty eight (38) of the fifty (50) respondents seventy six (76%) were below the age of forty
(40) years. Twelve (12) of the fifty (50) respondents twenty four percent (24%) were above the age of
forty (40) years. Fifteen (15) of the respondents. Thirty percent (30%) were consist of male and thirty five
(35) of fifty (50) respondents seventy percent (70%) were female.
