There is a small but clean canteen in our school. There are many types of food such as
cooked food, packed and bottled cold drinks, ice-cream, cakes and packed snack. The canteen
sold 35% of cooked food such as fried mee, laksa, and nasi lemak . 10% of the canteen sold
came from Ice-cream. Only 20% of packed and bottled cold drinks are sold because some
students bring their own drinks from home. Each day, 80% of pupils buy food from the
canteen .From that percentage, 5 % of students buy only at lunch time. Cakes and drinks are
popular among the students who play games in the afternoon. 20% of the students never buy
food from the canteen. They bring food from home or buy from the hawkers outside the
school compound. Students are not advised to buy food from the hawkers because we are not
sure of the cleanliness. Students should be encouraged to bring food and drinks from home
because they are clean and nutritious.
