Introduction
Yitzhak Rabin was the prime minister of Israel he wanted
to do peace with all the countries some people don’t
accept with his plans and one man Igal Amir murdered
him. Yitzhak died in November 4 1995.
Rationale
Yitzhak Rabin was very brave man and he tried to do
peace with the Arabians. I choose him because I want to
be like him.
Early life
Yitzhak Rabin was born in Jerusalem March 1 1922. His
mother’s name was Rosa and his father’s name was
Nehemiah he moved to Tel Aviv with his family’ He failed
his enter exam to the Kadurie school but latterly he won
highcommisioner’s prize for academic excellence.
Rabin became friend with Yigal Alon later he became the
leader of Palmah in the elite strike force of the Haganah
underground.
Family life
Yitzhak met his wife Lea Schlosberg in 1943 Lea came
from Germany from Konigsberg.
She moved to Israel when she was 5 years old. They
married on 23 August 1948 they’re first daughter Dalia
born 2 years after their marriage in 1955 Lea Gave birth
to Yuval after they came back from the U.S.A they lived in
Neve Avivim until they died.
Political career
He became the Prime minister on 1974 after Golda Meir’s
death. He beat Shimon Peres in his votes. In 1984 he
became the defense minister. In 1992 he focused on the
prospect of a peace agreement with the Palestinians. He
was murdered in 4 November 1995.
The death and aftermath
On 4th November 1995 he was murdered by Igal Amir Igal
shoot him three times in the chest the ambulance took
him to the hospital but he died 40 minutes after Igal shot
him. Igal Amir 25 years old got life sentence. After
Yitzhak Rabin died the Palestine’s don’t have with us we
have every 2 years a war with them. Every year we do
Memorial Day for remember Yitzhak Rabin.
