The purpose of our report was to find out how many electronics store in Sukkur are using
ePOS on their shops and how what is their satisfaction before, after and without it. We also
looked for a client who want to switch to ePOS from their existing system and made a SRS for
that.
Sukkur has the largest dates and dry dates market of asia. Dates and dry date are being
exported to india, australia and america for about rupees two billions. In addition knitted ware
are also exported from sukkur. Major products being imported here include chemicals, dyes,
second hand clothing and industrial raw materials.
There are two industrial estates in sukkur i.e. sindh industrial trading estate (site) and small
industries estate (sie). The site was established in 1963 over an area of about 1060 acres and is
managed by a managing director and a board housed at karachi.
Research Methodology
Due to limited resources we restricted or selves to just one market, Waritar road and did
complete research there. We went to 20 different shops and asked them to fill a questionnaire
below.
3. How much you are willing to spend to switch to a new system or improving current
system ?
And from the survey we deducted the result and predicted that for the whole Sukkur market.

change.
Conclusion
So from they survey we concluded that almost 95 percent of shops I sukkur are using manual
system for their sells/purchase and inventory system. Shop keepers are hesitant to changes
and are not willing to spend more money on optimizing this process as their current system is
satisfying them. But a cheap Automated generic ePOS will definitely be a game changer in this
market. A low price system will attract the shop owners to buy new system as we say there
was flexibility among some shop owners to switch to new system given that cost is less.
We found our client Faisal Electronics and promised them to deliver a cheap ePOS system
under 25 Thounds and prepared a SRS and Vision Document for them as well.
