Adverbs

Adverbs modify the verb. They are usually placed after the verb or
after the object.
Subject + Verb + (Object) + Adverb.
Usually, adverbs finish in –ly.
Adverbs of Manner
Adverbs of manner tell us how something happens. They
are placed after the main verb or after the object. E.g:
I sing horribly. (after the verb)
He waited patiently.
He plays the flute beautifully. (after the object)

Adverbs of Place
Adverbs of place describe where something happens.
Most adverbs of place are also used as prepositions.
They are commonly placed after the verb or the object.
E.g: I wanted to go upstairs.
I will find my money somewhere.
I am going to study abroad.

Adverbs of Time
Adverbs of time describe when something happens.
Adverbs of time are usually put at the end of the
sentence. E.g:
I went to the church yesterday.
My cousin will visit me later.

finally tomorrow
just when
last while
