First of all, I would like to thank almighty Allah for his grace in accomplishing my internship
report on time.

the core of my heart for his kind support, guidance, constructive, supervision, instructions and
advice and for motivating me to do this report.

I am also thankful to my Internship Supervisor Mr. Murad Hossain, Senior Executive Officer of
Jamuna Bank Limited, Nayabazar Branch for supervising me and providing various key
information and giving me the path to write a fruitful report. I would also like to give special thanks
to Mr. Sunzid Ahmed, General Officer, of Jamuna Bank, Nayabazar Branch who was there from
the till the end of my internship. He supported me and taught me so many things. The team

 Executive Summary

The Internship Report “General Banking Activities of Jamuna Bank Limited” is originated as a
partial requirement of BBA Program, Department of Business Administration, American
International university- Bangladesh.

This report focuses 13 weeks working experiences at Jamuna Bank, Nayabazar Branch. This report
will give a clear idea about the General Banking Activities of Jamuna Bank Limited. This report
has five parts Introduction, Activities Undertaken, Constraints/ Challenges, Lessons Learned from
the Internship Program and Concluding Statements.

The First Part which is focused on Introduction, Rationale, Objectives and Background.

The Second Part is focused on activities undertaken contain with organization work related with
focused on General Banking department and other relevant works.

The Third Part is focused on Constraints/ Challenges, identified and observation in the
organization, find out the mismatch between assigned tasks and other operational functions of the
organization with the academic preparation and also if there any missing knowledge and skills that
need to be learned in the university which are relevant to the company or to oneself as future
professional.

The Fourth Part is lesson I learned from Jamuna Bank Limited during my internship period.

The Fifth Part it’s all about the summary of my report and some suggestions.

During my internship period while preparing this report I have faced some problems like- too much
work pressure, multiple tasks, unrelated tasks etc. but though I have learned so many things that is
described in the lessons learning chapter.

The findings of this report show some problems regarding general banking division like lack of
monitoring, lack of job rotations, lack of employee skill set, Technical problems etc.
Some recommendation has been added at the end of this report. I hope these will be helpful for
them.
