How to upgrade the software

Before upgrade the software, please copy the folder RTHemat of new version software to a
USB disk. Then insert the USB disk into the USB port and turn on the instrument. When the
instrument begin self-checking process, just press Alt + F4 to skip self-checking, the test
interface will appear.

Part 1. Back up
All parameters, test results, and data are saved in RTHemat folder. Before upgrade the
software of the instrument, please back up the parameters, results and data in your USB disk
or computer. The procedure as below:
1. Click Exit to enter the main interface, enter the backdoor of software by clicking the area
indicated in Figure 1. Then click Explorer in backdoor to enter the explorer.

2. Open the folder RTHemat in D disk and copy four files into USB disk to back up the
parameters, results and data. The four files are BloodCell.mdb, Setting.ini, TD.dat
and TDI.dat, please check as below:

Part 2. Upgrade the software
1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to enter task manager, select RTHemat.exe in Process and
click End Process to end the process of the software.

2. Close the task manager and back to explorer. Copy the new software folder RTHemat
from the USB disk to D: disk. Then click Yes to All when the pop-up window appears as
Figure 6 shows.

3. Now the software has been upgraded. Copy the four files which you backed up
before and paste them into the new folder RTHemat to replace the original files.
When the pop-up window appears (refers to Figure 7), click Yes to All.
