Examine the principles of Project Management, the role of a Project Manager


and explain the importance of a Project Charter and a Project Plan in project
success.

Value: 10% of the total course grade

Purpose

To understand the common principles behind Project Management by examining


the role of the Project Manager, the Knowledge Areas, and explaining the
importance of a project charter and a project management plan.

1. This assignment has two parts. Part 1 consists of multiple choice


questions. Part 2 consists of long and short answer questions of topics
covered in the lessons.

2. Review the first four weeks of the lectures and reading materials prior to
