PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING PADA REMAJA PUTUS SEKOLAH

Abstract
Dropping out of school is seen as a predicate for adolescents who are not able to
completed an educational level, by dropping out of schools can be a burden for
adolescents who experience it. Life problems are often perceived as a pressing
problem that can lead to emotional disorders which affecting on well-being in
adolescents. The purpose of the present paper is to show well-being which
conceptualized as psychological well-being in adolescent school dropout as well as
to verify the correlation to sense of humor, resilience and identity status. This study
is a population study in Barehsos Wira Adhi Karya Ungaran involving 53 subjects.
First major hypothesis results indicate theres significant correlation between sense
of humor, resilience with psychological well-being in adolescents school dropout
Ft= 3.376, p=0,042 (<0.05), which mean the first major hypothesis in this study is
proven, with the proportion of variance of psychological well-being which can be
explained by a sense of humor and resilience a number of 11.9%. First minor
hypothesis results found no significant correlation between sense of humor with
psychological well-being in adolescents school dropouts p=0,111(>0,05), which
means first minor hypothesis is not proven. While the second minor hypothesis,
results found significant and positive correlation between resilience with
psychological well-being p=0,006(>0,05) its mean second minor hypothesis is
proven. Furthermore, the second major hypothesis results indicated no significant
differences psychological well-being based on identity status Ft = 2.934, p=
0,001(<0.05), which means the second major hypothesis is proven. From post hoc
test with LSD analysis indicated, significant differences psychological well-being
between adolescents school dropouts who has identity achievement with
foreclosure (MD = 10.933) and achievement with diffusion (MD = 12.156).

 Abstraksi
Putus sekolah dipandang sebagai predikat bagi remaja yang tidak mampu
menyelesaikan suatu jenjang pendidikan, dengan meninggalkan sekolah sebelum
waktunya dapat menjadi beban bagi remaja yang mengalaminya. Permasalahan
hidup yang sering dirasakan sebagai permasalahan yang menekan dapat
mengakibatkan gangguan emosional dan gangguan emosional tersebut sedikit
banyak mempengaruhi remaja putus sekolah dalam merasakan kebahagiaan.
Penelitian ini dilakukan selain untuk mengetahui kebahagian yang
dikonseptualisasikan sebagai psychological well-being pada remaja putus sekolah
juga untuk menguji keterkaitannya dengan sense of humor, resilience dan identity
status. Penelitian ini merupakan studi populasi di Barehsos Wira Adhi Karya
Ungaran dengan melibatkan 53 remaja putus sekolah sebagai subjek penelitian.
Hasil uji hipotesis mayor pertama memperoleh hasil ada hubungan yang signifikan
antara sense of humor, resilience dengan psychological well-being pada remaja
putus sekolah Fh=3,376,p=0,042(<0,05), sehingga hipotesis mayor pertama
terbukti, dengan proporsi varian dari variabel psychological well-being yang
dijelaskan oleh sense of humor dan resilience sebesar 11,9%. Uji hipotesis minor
pertama memperoleh hasil tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sense of
humor dengan psychological well-being pada remaja putus sekolah
p=0,111(>0,05) sehingga hipotesis minor pertama tidak terbukti. Sedangkan uji
hipotesis minor kedua, memperoleh hasil ada hubungan positif yang signifikan
antara resilience dengan psychological well-being pada remaja putus sekolah
p=0,006(>0,05), artinya hipotesis minor kedua terbukti. Selanjutnya dari uji
hipotesis mayor kedua memperoleh hasil ada perbedaan yang signifikan
psychological well-being pada remaja putus sekolah ditinjau dari identity status
Fh=2,934 p= 0,001 (<0,05) yang artinya hipotesis mayor kedua terbukti. Dari hasil
uji lanjut dengan analisis LSD memperoleh hasil, ada perbedaan yang signifikan
psychological well-being antara remaja putus sekolah yang memiliki identity status
achievement, dengan foreclosure (MD=10,933) dan achievement dengan diffusion
(MD=12,156).
