XPAC 7

Purpose Delivery Method

The aim of this course is to promote efficient & effective mine scheduling using Courses are delivered in a classroom environment with an emphasis on
XPAC, RPMs medium to long range scheduling solution. participant involvement through practical workshops using standardised data.

Learning Outcomes Dates and Location

At the completion of this course participants will be able to: This course is delivered in both public and private course format. The public
Complete a design of an underground coal/potash operation (UG) course schedule can be viewed at www.rpmglobal.com. Private courses are
Set up an XPAC database delivered upon request at a mutually agreeable time.
Import and manipulate data via XCMs
Create polygon graphics
Private Training Courses
Establish manual input path schedules The advantages of private course training include:
Establish automated schedules (AS/ADS) On-site training is more economic for larger group sizes
Configure stockpiles (AS/ADS) The course takes place at a date that suits your teams schedule
Create schedule dependencies, constraints, and objectives (AS/ADS) Content can be configured to suit your business requirements
Import dumps and schedule (ADS) Confidential information can flow freely through discussion
Visualise and report schedule related information

RPM Training
Who Should Attend? RPMs training program delivers courses on the following topics:
This course is recommended for mining professionals who play a pivotal role in Professional Development
mine planning and operations. Participants typically include mine scheduling / Mining for Non-Miners
planning engineers, mine planning superintendents / managers, senior operations Mining Economics
personnel, and system administrators. Mine Planning
Asset Management
Software
Course Modules Scheduling - XPAC Solutions, XPAC, XACT
The optional course modules include: XPAC Underground Coal/Potash Design Simulation - HAULSIM, TALPAC, DRAGSIM
(UG), XPAC Standard (STD), XPAC AutoScheduler (AS), XPAC Advanced Finance - XE, XERAS
Destination Scheduler (ADS), and XPAC Scripting (XCM). Execution - XECUTE
Asset Management - AMT

Pre-requisite Skills
Participants should understand the principles of mine planning and be computer
literate. This should include direct exposure to mine scheduling logic and
methodology, the use of mine reserves data and equipment allocation. XPAC
Standard is a pre-requisite module to all courses and XPAC AutoScheduler is a
pre-requisite module to XPAC Advanced Destination Scheduler.
