A schools tardiness problem can be difficult to overcome unless theres a way to enforce
the consequences for repeated offenses. Lets say you have a special-privilege program for
students in good standing. For example, the option to go off campus during lunch period. If
a student is repeatedly late for class, you can remove that privilege. But how do you know if a
student has that privilege if you see them leaving the campus?
Schools, colleges and universities utilize student identification cards to foster a safe learning
environment, often combining access control and identification into one card for flexibility and
convenience.
Card scanning is a vital part of any industry today as it enables us to capture vital information
as well as complete ID images from a wide variety of media. This data can then be utilized for
accurate record keeping as well as to streamline and optimize data entry during visitor registration.
With the advancement in technology, most of the latest cards are created with holograms which
may affect the accuracy and efficiency of card scanning.
Objectives
Identification card scanning let the parents know that their child entered the school on time.
They feel secured because of the barcode scanning.
Barcode scanning will lessen the percentage of students that cut classes.
To discipline the students to stop their wrong doings or behaviors by making sure that they will
go to school.
To make the school security stronger.
Scope
[What will be the end result of the project? Describe here what phases of work will be undertaken.]
