Learning Target/s: At the end of the lesson, the students CAN:
1. describe what moral responsibility entails;
2. be morally obliged to protect human values that lead a person to be more free;
3. compose a short prayer, imploring Gods help as they journey in doing their moral obligations daily.

I. Essential Ideas
Moral obligation is something that binds one to a course of action, a duty, a liability. More
often than not, the word is scratched out of the young peoples vocabulary for it seems to spoil
the fun and gaiety of freedom.
