Opening: Engage and teaching
Time: 15- minutes
At the beginning of the lesson, I will ask the students about yesterdays lesson,
then I will ask two students to come to the front of the class and will ask them to
raise their fingers, for example they will raise two fingers and then I will write two
plus two on the board and then will ask the other students what is the answer of
two plus two, and then I will different example with different students and then I
will give them the main words of the lesson which they are (sum) and (addend)

General Comments
My general comments in my mathematics lesson, is that the strategies used in the
classroom worked on the students and I checked on their understanding by asking
them some questions and give them some practices to solve them on the board also
they used hands on activities to understand the lesson even more by having the
materials with them and do the activity in groups to get the right answer.
Recommendations / future personal targets / areas of focus

My recommendations for this lesson is to have more hands on activities to make sure
of the students understanding and to do cooperative work that will make the students
to help each other to get the answer. My areas of focus are to differentiate between
the levels of the students to put them in process of developing their learning skills.
And my personal future targets in teaching is that I will use hands on activities and
will work on my time management to split each activity to the time needed.
