Dear Cooperating Teacher:

I am writing to convey my sincere appreciation for letting me into your classroom, which
enabled me in several ways to better prepare myself for a future in teaching. From
observing how you manage classroom behavior to learning how to accommodate students
varied needs, I understood better how the educational theory we learn in class is applied.

Please also convey my thanks to your students, who welcomed me so quickly into the
classroom, although I was a strange, new person. They were respectful and supportive of
my presence, which made things much easier. They are always so curious, so full of energy,
and full of laughter. I have no doubt that many of them will make great scientists if they
make that their life goal. I wish them all the best of luck in their future.

Please pass on my thanks to the staff at Smalley, especially the Principal, for taking the time
to facilitate my observations this semester. It was a good learning experience, and I am
grateful that so many current teachers are willing to take the time in their already
incredibly busy lives to help future teachers find their place.

Sincerely,

Sandeep Dhagat
