The Issue That Affect Us Daily: Climate Change

The article talks about the famous southern California smog that has been around for a long

time now. California has fought against this smog, and apparently, it was a successful fight

during some period. However, nowadays the fog has gotten worse for the second

consecutive year. Even though car emissions have declined because of the laws enforced,

the smog came back. This phenomenon is hard to explain, but theories say it is because of

the switching between cold-hot weather that is trapping the pollution in smog form. Smog

is a severe health threatening issue. People with asthma can suffer and be in a critical state

because of this polluted style. This article helps in my research because it gives an example

of how climate change can affect the population.

Healthcare is essential in time of crisis, especially when Climate Change strikes and harms

the lives of the population. This article discusses how healthcare systems should change to
 adapt to climate change. Healthcare should prioritize when there is a climate disaster, and

not charge those high fees to victims of the tragedy. Furthermore, hospitals and first-aid

structures should adopt for an impact of climate disasters for example; floods, hurricanes,

tsunamis, and more. If the structures prepared correctly, then there will be no worries that

significant amount of lives will be saved. Another concern would be that climate change

brings a vast quantity of diseases, that is why the health department needs to be prepared

in case these diseases begin. This article is relevant because it shows that health care is

essential in the battle against climate change.

The laws about climate change are fundamental. They are an essential tool to prevent the

climate disaster. Because they are an essential tool, all the countries need to implement

these laws. This article discusses the importance of the law of climate change, and its

history since the starting of them. At first, countries and people were not aware of the

problem, so that is why 30 or 40 years ago there were no laws about climate change. But

when time passed, all humanity started to see the effects of the climate change, and then

all the countries realized they needed to do something about it. However, they began to

implement these laws with almost no interest, since the problem wasnt a significant issue

as now. This article is a substantial contribution because it shows the history of the climate

change laws and their importance.

This non-profit website is an organization in the U.S.A. in charge of making movements

against issues that damage the climate nationally and worldwide. The webpage explains in

detail all the problems happening, and then it tells what the organization doing to address

the issue is. Also, it schedules peaceful protests, activities, and more for people who want

to participate in it. Greenpeace has uncountable articles about climate change, for the ones

who are interested in the issue. This planet-earth savior organization is one of the biggest

and most recognized around the world, and the only sponsors are its members. This website

is relevant for me because it addresses the concern about climate change and it has a lot of

resources and information about it.

Americans are getting aware of the climate change situation. This article discusses how

Americans want to learn more about the climate change situation. However, this demand

is not getting satisfied. Studies show that the U.S. population is increasing in awareness

about climate change. People want to know more about it, but they dont see any

information on mainstream media. For the population to acknowledge about climate

change, they need to do their research. Countries have promised to not increase the

temperature of the earth to no more than 2C, but they dont seem to show any concern to

educate people about the issue. This article helps to understand that the U.S. population
 wants to get more educated about climate change, but the government is not giving the

people information about it.

This article discusses all the possible scenarios of the effect of climate change. The section

contains conclusions from the consequence of climate disaster, viewed from multiple

aspects like; political consequences, rising sea, worst outcomes, global catastrophe, needed

action, and more. Each segment contains a listing of what can happen because of climate

change. In the political part, countries could get into wars because of the violation of the

climate laws, or because their resources are running out. From the catastrophe part, the sea

will rise making massive floods and inhabit significant regions on earth, and more

examples shown. This article is relevant for my research because it shows climate change

in all points of view.

A significant quantity of the population gets confused when hearing Climate Change.

They may think Climate Changes all the time. What is the problem? or another believe

that is not the correct one. In this article, the author talks about reframing the name climate

change to Environmental Health. Reframing the name of climate change could be a good

idea because when we say climate change, we always refer to how the health of the climate
 deteriorates. The difference in the name does not come only for the people to understand

climate change, it also means that changing the name to Environmental Health could attract

more the attention of the people. This article is an excellent source of how the name of

climate change misinterpreted, and also how inaccurate it is.

In this article, the author talks about that bearded dragons are affected because of climate

change. This consequence is that the reptilian species is getting less intelligent because of

the warm temperatures. However, it all happens when the dragons are in their eggs; when

the eggs exposed to high temperatures while the incubation period they get this effect on

their intelligence. Scientist formed a study that conducted on two groups of the reptilian

species. While in their incubation, one group exposed to a higher temperature than the

other, then when dragons were born they were tested, and in the result, the ones with the

higher temperature in their incubation had the hardest time solving the test. This article is

relevant because it shows how climate change is affecting the species of the planet.
