This document presents AMSTAR 2, a critical appraisal tool for systematic reviews that include randomized or non-randomized studies. It consists of 16 questions to assess the methodological quality of systematic reviews. The questions address aspects such as whether the review had clear objectives and inclusion criteria, comprehensively searched for relevant studies, assessed risk of bias, and appropriately synthesized the results. Responses are broken into categories of fully meeting standards, partially meeting standards, and not meeting standards.
