"Can you segregate the access to MIGO transaction like all the other SAP
transactions? with STCODE 01 Create, 02 Modify and 03 Visualize? For
example, if I am going to assign the MIGO transaction to a user, would it be
possible just to let him visualize MIGO? or once you assign him the MIGO, he
gets access to modify also?"

Hi DBC,

He may be. And I feel that your answer was completely transparent to me.
It's just that it never hurts to give the OP too much info. It's hard to
tell where they may be coming from.

Thanks Neal for the clari cation. I misunderstood his question. I took for granted
the user was already given authorization to run the tcode MIGO via authorization
Object ""S_TCODE""; but he wanted to restrict activities via other authorization
objects.

Well, actually no. The tcode is a speci c authorization. It just says whether you can
run the tcode. That check is made before you can actually get into break mode, so
you can't see it happening.

The other authorizations that Damita gave you are speci ed separately. There you
can specify 01 for create, 02 for change and so on.

These you can see happening in debug mode (mostly). Get into break and specify
""Break at Statement Authority-check"". Then you can see each authorization check
made.

Yes. For each of the Authorization Objects I listed, you can specify what that role
can do.
I don't know if you have access to SAP transaction 'SUIM' or 'PFCG , but if you do,
you can see the various options.

Below is an example where we the SAP standard authorization was manually

changed to allow a person to Create, Change, and Display MIGO Goods Receipt for
a Purchase Order for Mvt Types 101-106, and 122-125

Materials Management: Inventory Management/Phys.Inventory MM_B

Goods Receipt for Purchase Order: Movement Type M_MSEG_BWE
Goods Receipt for Purchase Order: Movement Type T-EV73045100
Activity 01, 02, 03 ACTVT
Movement Type (Inventory Manag) 101-106, 122-125 BWART

Below is an example where the SAP standard authorization was manually changed
to only allow a person to Display MIGO Goods Receipt for a Purchase Order for All
Mvt Types

Materials Management: Inventory Management/Phys.Inventory MM_B

Goods Receipt for Purchase Order: Movement Type M_MSEG_BWE
Goods Receipt for Purchase Order: Movement Type T-DV31114410
Activity 03 ACTVT
Movement Type (Inventory Manag) * BWART

You do the same for Matrerial Documents, Plants, etc.
