3.4 Knowledge transfer activity (Actividad de Transferencia de Conocimiento)

Now that you have more ideas related to asking and


answering questions in English, prepare a structured
interview you will use to interact with a foreign person.

Follow the steps:

1. Choose a greeting to catch the foreigners attention.

2. Think of a formal and understandable


presentation to introduce your group and activity.

3. Write some English questions to get personal information. Discuss with your group and
decide which five you will use.

4. Think of a topic related to your career youd like to know. For instance: Colombian
companies, places theyd like to visit, hos Colombia can improve its economy. If you choose
the last one you would ask If they would invest in Colombian companies.

5. Now, using brainstorm write as much questions as possible according to the topic you selected.

6. Finally choose the best five of them.

Interview day (3 people)

1. Greet the foreign


2. Introduce your group and activity
3. Ask if you can record he/she answering your questions
4. If yes continue, if not thank him/her and look for another one
5. Start the recording
6. Ask the five personal questions
(If you dont get what they say ask them to slow down)
7. Now announce you are going to ask the five questions
concerning to your career
8. Ask the questions and if you dont understand, please ask
him/her to slow down again.
9. Thank him/her and look for a new foreign
10. Ask the same interview to three foreigners
11. Finally Edit your videos and take them to the next class
