Major project:

Title: Design and experimentation on natural fibre reinforced hybrid composites.

Description:

The main aim of our project is studying about the mechanical properties of jute and hemp
fibre reinforced composites. Fabrication of all composites is done using hand layup method
using catalyst and accelerator. Along with pure fiber composites different combinations of
these composites are fabricated and tested.

This investigation develops a clear idea about the areas where these fibres can be used. The
results proved that tensile and bending characteristics of both jute and hemp are improved
with increase in weight percentage

Mini Project:

Title: Internship at South Central Railway.

Description: Learned about locomotive assembling and dissembling, a keen observation on

railway gating system, learned about diesel engines working and performance.
