METSOS NEWSLETTER FOR MINING CUSTOMERS

These regular oil changes will keep exciters

free of any condensation or contamination that
might cause trouble and affect performance
during equipment operation. Severe operating
conditions may demand more frequent oil
changes.
Lubricant oil should be drained immediately
after the machine is turned off so that any
incidental contaminants are still in suspension
in the hot oil so as to ensure that the largest
amount possible of contamination is removed
along with the oil. Use extreme caution when
handling hot oil.
