Introduction
In fluid power, hydraulics is used for the generation, control, and transmission of power
by the use of pressurized liquids. For the hydraulic machines, it was machinery and tools that
use liquid fluid power to do simple work. In this type of machine, hydraulic fluid is transmitted
throughout the machine to various hydraulic motors and hydraulic cylinders and which becomes
pressurized according to the resistance present. The fluid is controlled directly or automatically
by control valves and distributed through hoses and tubes. The popularity of hydraulic machinery
is due to the very large amount of power that can be transferred through small tubes and flexible
hoses, and the high power density and wide array of actuators that can make use of this power.
Hydraulic machinery is operated by the use of hydraulics, where a liquid is the powering
medium. A fundamental feature of hydraulic systems is the ability to apply force or torque
multiplication in an easy way, independent of the distance between the input and output, without
the need for mechanical gears or levers, either by altering the effective areas in two connected
cylinders or the effective displacement between a pump and motor.

The function of this system is to first clamp the work piece then pressing operation is done. So
in this circuit 4/2 dcv normal return valve is use. Cylinder type used for press and clamp is
double acting type. Speed of press and clamp is control by one way control valve. The system
stat when level operated in clamping dcv is set on. Oil is supply to cylinder with desired speed
and makes the cylinder to extend. When level operated at press cylinder is set on the oil that
been eject from first cylinder is supply to second dcv valve and makes the press cylinder to
extend. When both of the level operated is let off the dcv valve automatically retract and close
the supply of oil and makes both cylinder to retract back.
