Work Experience
Sept. 2011-Current Assistant Manager at Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commis-
sion, Lahore Pakistan
I am responsible for calibration of heterogeneous, homogeneous and
special Calibration. I also handle telemetries trend analysis of different
subsystem of a Geo communication satellite.

May 2010-Jul 2010 Intern at National Development Complex, Islamabad Pakistan

I design and develop mechanical structure and electrical modules of an
indegius robot in a team for National Engineering and Robotics Contest
2010. This robot perform specific tasks in a predefined arena.

June 2009-Aug 2009 Intern at National Development Complex, Islamabad Pakistan

I designed and develop mechanical structure and electrical modules
of an indegius robot in a team for National Engineering and Robotics
Contest 2009. This robot perform specific tasks in a predefined arena.
In addition, Inter Integrated Circuit Communication Protocol is imple-
mented on PIC18F.

Skills
Programming languages (C/C++, Java, C sharp, Assembly, ASP.NET, PHP, Verlog), MATLAB,
OpenCV, 2 layer PCB designing, Proteus

Projects
1. Concealed Weapon Detection Via Thermal Imaging
Vision based system continually monitor environment using thermal infrared imaging
camera. Back end application detect moving object in field of view and separates it
from the background. The separated object is then analyzed and segmented to extract
the concealed object under human clothing. The segmented object(s) is then matched
with the basic geometrical shapes stored in the database to guess the possible weapon
under human clothing. The detected object(s) and the extracted frame are sent to the
FTP server for further actions.
2. Bluetooth Based Access System
An access system is developed consisting of a mobile application in J2ME and a Blue-
tooth dongle. Mobile application search for devices for communication and after suc-
cessfully connection, appropriate commands are send to the receiver and finally control
unit perform action(s).

Achievements
1. Internal Board Merit Scholarship to study computer engineering at University of Engi-
neering and Technology Taxila Pakistan, 2007-11
2. Founding member and General Secretary of Taxilian Robotics and Automation Club at
University of Engineering and Technology Taxila Pakistan 2009-10
3. Participation and performance award at National Engineering and Robotics Contest
held at National University of Sciences and Technology Islamabad Pakistan
