1. The students will get into their groups and
have the entire class period to produce their
Stop Motions. Students can choose to use
Puppet Pals App, Create/use Sock Puppets,
legos, drawings (digital or physical),
magazine clippings, dolls, act it out using
themselves.

Part 3/Day 3
1. The teacher will have students meet with
their group for 10-15 minutes and put
finishing touches on their Stop Motion
Projects.

2. After the 10-15 minutes, the teacher will


pass out slips of paper with questions about
each group's project.

3. The students will then present their Stop


Motion Projects.
First students will tell the class if they
used words directly from the text or a
mixture of paraphrasing and words
directly from the text. The students
will also explain why they chose to do
it that way.
While watching each other's projects,
students will answer the questions on
the hand outs for each group. (One of
the questions will ask if they thought

the paraphrasing made a stronger


impact on their selected passage or if
words direct from the text was a
better choice, etc.).
