3. Patch chords.
4. CRO.

WORKING PROCEDURE

1. Switch ON the power supply.

2. Vary the frequency (Potmeter1) and Amplitude (Potmeter 2) to set modulating signal
to
1KHz and 2Vpp and check the corresponding output at pin P1 and P2.

3. Vary frequency (Potmeter 3) and Amplitude (Potmeter 4) to set carrier signal to

50KHz and 5Vpp at pin P9 and P10 .

4. Connect the modulating signal output (P1, P2) to the modulating signal input of the
diode modulator at pin (P5, P6 ).

5. Connect the carrier signal output (P9, P10) to the carrier signal input of the diode
modulator at pin (P3, P4).

6. Connect the CRO channel 1 to the modulating signal input at pin (T1, T2) and channel
2 to the diode modulator output at pin (P7, P8).

7. Set DC voltage (BIAS) in minimum level.

8. Vary the Modulating signal amplitude to check different modulation methods.

9. Observe the output modulated waveform at pin P7, P8 and plot the graph.
