Solar PV System comprises of PV (PhotoVoltaic) Panels that absorb Sunrays and convert them to

electricity (DC). There also is an Inverter that converts this DC into AC so as to make it fit-to-use for
electrical circuits. While the solar system is producing electricity from solar energy, we can use it
directly at home and excess gets sold to the electricity grid that one might be the part of and gets
paid as per the predefined feed-in tariff. Alternatively, one may also get an additional battery
installed so that no power goes back to the grid and gets stored into the battery for using it during
the night.
