Target participants: Drilling Crew and others with a
requirement to hold an IWCF Well Control certificate
Overall course goals
At the conclusion of this course, the participants will be able to:
Explain the principles and procedures used in well control
operations, including surface and subsea BOP stack,
according to IWCF standards.
Explain design, requirements and operation of well control
equipment, including surface and subsea BOP stack,
according to IWCF standards.
Demonstrate how well control situations are mastered by use
of simulator according to IWCF standards.
Course completion
The course has three final tests which must be passed with a 70%
or higher mark in order to receive a certificate.

Target participants: Drilling supervisors, well engineers, OIM
and others with a requirement to hold an IWCF Well Control
certificate
