The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to
inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio,
upon their oath do find and present that Nina Loucia Straty late of said County, on or about April 27,
2017, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2903.04 of the Ohio Revised
Code, did cause the death of L.K. and such death was the proximate result of Nina Loucia Straty
committing or attempting to commit the felony offense of Endangering Children.

The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to
inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio,
upon their oath do find and present that Nina Loucia Straty late of said County, on or about April 27,
2017, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2919.22 of the Ohio Revised
Code, being a parent, guardian, custodian, person having custody or control, or person in loco parentis
of a child under eighteen years of age, to wit: twenty-seven (27) days of age, did recklessly create a
substantial risk to the health or safety of L.K., by violating a duty of care, protection, or support.
Furthermore, the violation resulted in serious physical harm to L.K..
All of the above conduct being contrary to the form of the statute in such cases made and provided,
and against the peace and dignity of the State of Ohio.
