It is my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Rebecca Hitchcock, who is applying for a registered nurse
position in your organization. I know Rebecca as a student and as a leader in our pre-professional service club, the
Student Nurses at the University of Arizona (SNUA). Based on my observations and work with her, I believe Rebecca
will make an excellent candidate for a position in your facility.

Rebecca is currently enrolled in a population health nursing course I am teaching this semester. For the clinical rotation
in the course, Rebecca completed a 5-week internship with the Pima County Health Department Pubic Health Nursing
Division, conducting a community assessment and providing health education to a vulnerable population of elders.
During the rotation, she demonstrated her intelligence, creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. The rotation
involved a great deal of teamwork, with which she excelled. Rebecca communicated well with her classmates,
numerous community members, and me. Finally, Rebecca is a talented artist and graphic designer, and used her skills to
develop a visual aid for a health education project on fall prevention. Based on these attributes as well as her grades and
attendance, I would rate her performance in my class as excellent.

Rebecca was a SNUA officer and board member for the 2016-2017 school year. As faculty advisor for the club, I
observed her consistently demonstrating leadership, hard work, and a commitment to service. She is organized, reliable,
and responsible, as she consistently met deadlines and completed assigned task. I expect great things from Rebecca as
she continues her professional service and leadership as a registered nurse.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Rebecca Hitchcock for a registered nurse position in your organization. If
her performance in SNUA and my class is any indication of how she will practice as a registered nurse, Rebecca will be
