Briefly describe what will happen DURING the SRT activity: The students have a hand held device such as
an ipad. The students will go to kahoot.com and type in the game code given. They will enter in a user name
of their choice that is appropriate. Once everyone has joined the instructor will begin the game. The question
will appear on the screen for a few seconds for the students to read and then the screen will change to show
the answer choices. Each answer choice is labeled as a color and shape. On the students hand held device the
screen is broken up into four squares with a color and shape in each representing the answer choices. The
goal is for the students to choice the correct answer as fast as possible. The students that answered the
question correctly and the fastest receive more points. The correct answer and class score will appear after

everyone has answered the question. They will be organized on a bar graph based on how many people chose
each answer choice. When the instructor clicks next the highest ranked scores will be posted with their user

to build up to a final winner.

Why or why not?
I want the students to be able to receive immediate feedback in order to grow from their mistakes and be
encouraged from their accomplishments.
Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity?
The SRT activity is the closing activity to this lesion plan. However, The instructor will be recording the date
from the scores of the students involved in the game to see who needs more help on the subject.
How will the data be used?
The data gathered from this activity will help the to gage how well the individual students understand the
concept. This activity is not one to be put in the grade book but just as a comprehension gage for the
instructor to work off of.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.
I have not used this tool in a lesson plan but I hope to bring a fun and encouraging environment with games
such as this. I am using Kahoot to make learning fun. I do not want the students to be afraid of assessments.
