Religion: We are learning about the season of
Advent. We read about the seasons of the church
liturgical year. We read about the Holy Family.

Science: We began the chapter about animal

needs for survival. We described 2 food chains and
learned that all food chains begin with the sun. We
also talked about the parts of animal bodies that
help animals find and eat food.

Social Studies: We completed our study of the First

Thanksgiving. We watched two videos from
Discovery Education and 2 videos from Scholastic.
