By the end of the lesson, students will be (better) able to:
- Draw a summary\ favorite part of the story.
- Talk about their work.
- Worksheet Include:
(Tittle, Author, Characters and Main Idea).
Personal focus:
In this class I will be focusing on the medium level students. I will try to engage them for the story through
asking interesting questions. Also, I will evaluate their literacy skills through asking them to draw a
summary for the story and talk about it individually.
Engage:
Transition: - Get the students to set in the carpet at the beginning of the lesson.
I will ask all the students to set in the carpet and I will tell them what we will do in this class. We will have
a guide reading class today. I will take a group of you to do the guide reading with them while the other
have to go to the story corner, choose a story book and read it silently in their tables. I will give each one of
you this worksheet which it includes (Tittle, Author, Characters and Main Idea). You have to read your
story and answer the worksheet. While those students who are with me, go and bring your white board and
a marker and set in this table.
