Goolam Rasool

Allah Exalt Him & Her and all Marhooms of

The Ahle Sunnat with an Exalted Place in
Holy Paradise. Aameen.

Almighty Allah says, O Beloved Rasool ,

And We have exalted for You, Your Remembrance.

[Surah Al-Inshirah (94), Verse 4]

With the exception of sacrifice (Zibah) and when sneezing, We have kept
your name near in all matters of obedience, and We have incribed your
name on every mansion, chamber, wall, door and veil of Jannah (i.e.
Paradise), and on the roof of the Exalted Arsh, and on the leafs of Sidratul
Muntaha.

There is no station in the seven skies in which the name of the Beloved
is not inscribed. Wherever Laa Ilaha Ill-Allah is written, there
Muhammadur Rasoolullah is certainly written. Wherever in the Holy
Quran Almighty Allah attributed an important Command to Himself, there
He also remembered the Beloved Rasool .

He was sent towards the entire universe, and Almighty Allah made the
love and obedience of Nabi conditional, for His love and obedience.
Imaan can never be regarded as complete without fully accepting Him .

5
If one proclaims Laa ilaha ill-Allah a hundred thousand times, it will not
benefit him in any way, unless he does not believe in Muhammadur
Rasoolullah . In reality, His remembrance, is the remembrance of
Almighty Allah.

According to Abul Abbas Ahmed bin Suhail bin Ata Baghdadi this is what
is meant by the above verse of the Holy Quran. The Ambia, the Mursaleen
and the Angels cannot go beyond Sidratul Muntaha, but He went to
Qaaba Qawsain (and beyond). He saw His Creator, with the eyes of His
head, and He heard the Kalaam of Allah without any means.

Almighty Allah Himself sends Durood upon Him , and He commands the
Muslims,

    ! % ' &

O Believers! Send Durood upon Him, and Salaams in Abundance

[Surah Al Ahzaab (33), Verse 56]

Neither was Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salaam created as yet, nor was the
Universe created, but the excellence of The Most Beloved of Allah, and The
Most Accepted One in the Court of Allah, was being announced in the
heights of the Heavens.

6
The earth, the sky, the entire creation, time and place, were all created to
show the eminence of the Beloved Rasool . If the Creator (Allah
Almighty) did not will to show His excellence, He would not have
created the Arsh, The Kursi, Lauh, The Qalam, The Earth, The Skies, The
Souls, The Angels, The Jins, The Humans, and Heaven or Hell. He said,

If I had not created you, I would not have created (this) world

From the very beginning, He was addresed in with these words,

 34

You are (Allahs) Most Blessed Servant and His Most Chosen Servant, and
with you alone, and with you alone I have entrusted My Noor (light), and
the Keys to My treasures are with you. It is for you that I have laid down
the earth and elevated the skies, and due to you I have created reward
(blessings) and torment (i.e. punishment), and Heaven and Hell.

7
It was mentioned,

O Muhammad !I have not created anyone more exalted than You. I only
created this world, so that your excellence may be recognised (i.e.
acknowledged). If I had not created You, I would have not created the
world.

A Note of Caution:

This discussion is in no way conflicts the verse,

    %
 %

And We have created not man and Jin, but solely to Worship Us
[Surah Az-Zariyah (51), Verse 56]

In this, the practice is one which is Mustahna Minh (that which is used as a
source of exception), and here it is taken into account on the basis of the
knowledge. In other words, the benefit of the creation of all the actions of
Ibaadat (worship) and of all the knowledge, is the acknowledgement (i.e. to
believe in) The Beloved Nabi , and this acknowledgement, makes the
Tauheed apparent.

8
It has been mentioned that when the Noor e Muhammadi became
apparent, it immediately excellenced like a a pillar, and entered the Hijab
e Azmat.

It (The Noor) then made Sajdah in the Court of Almighty Allah, and said
Alhamdu Lillah.

(It was then said),

   J

This is why I created you, and kept your name Muhammad. From you, is
the inception of creation, and with you, I Will Seal The Coming of Prophets.

This Noor (i.e. Noor e Muhammadi ) was split into four portions. With
the first portion Allah created the Lauh (The protected Tablet), and with
the second portion He created the Qalam (The Exalted Pen).

Fifty thousand years before creation of the earth and the sky, the Qalam
wrote on the Protected Tablet,

KLM

Indeed, Muhammad is the Seal of the Prophets

9
It is written in Maaalim At Tanzeel a narration on the authority of Ibn
Abbas
that it is written at the begnning of the Lauh e Mahfuz (i.e.
the protected tablet);

There is none worthy of worship except Allah, Who is One; And He Loves
Islam, and Muhammad is His Most Chosen Servant and Rasool.
Whosoever believed in Allah, The Most Supreme, The Most Magnificent,
and regarded His Promises and Warnings as True, and he obeyed His
Rasools, Allah will enter him into Jannah.

This is when he was honoured for the first time. Before this, who knew
(him), that they may honour him. Someone one asked the Beloved Nabi ,
when did you receive Nubuwwah?

He said, when Almighty Allah created the Arsh, and spread out the skies
and the earth, and the Arsh was kept upon the shoulders of the bearers of
the Arsh, then at that time it was written on the pedestal of the Arsh with
the The Exalted Pen;

M

10
There is none worthy of worship except Allah. Muhammadur Rasoolullah
is the Seal of The Prophets

Once, the Companions asked Nabi about when He became a Prophet.

The Beloved Nabi said, (I was a Nabi then), when Hazrat Adam
was (still) between soul and body.

It has been mentioned in another Hadith,

J XY KLM X\

Indeed by Allah, I was written as the Seal of The Prophets, when

Hazrat Adam was still in the state of dust.

certainly assist Him. [Surah Aal e Imran (3), Verse 81]

responsibility in this.

They all said, We acknowledge it

12

 &

He (Allah) said, then become witnesses unto one another

s
&

And I too, am with you amongst the witnesses

There was substantial evidence, but since this matter has to do with the
Beloved , He said that, in this matter I too am a witness, just as it was the
testimony of the suckling baby was in the case of Hazrat Yusuf Alaihis
Salaam, and the testimony of Hazrat Esa was in the case of Hazrat
Maryam, and saved them from suspicion

When Hazrat Aisha

was falsely accused, then He (Allah) Himself
testified to her chastity and revealed seventeen verses (of the Quran in her
defence). If He (Allah) so willed, He would have made every single tree and
stone testify (in her defence), but He Willed that He should Himself testify
to the chastity of the Beloved wife of His Beloved , and thereby exalt her
honour and distinction.

When Almighty Allah willed to created The Exalted Pen, Almighty Allah
commanded the Pen by saying, write (O) Pen! Due to the fear caused by this
Divine Command, the Pen trembled for a thousand years.

13
It then said, O my Creator! What should I write? It was commanded,

Write my Tauheed (i.e. My Divine Oneness)

The Qalam wrote on the Lauh (protected tabet),

There is none worthy of worship except Allah

It was then commanded, write down the constituion for all the Ummats,
that whosoever from the children of Adam obeys Almighty Allah,
will enter Jannat; and whosoever disobeys (Allah) will be thrown into Hell.
In brief, as per the Divine Command, the Qalam wrote the same terms for
all the Ummats.

When the time came to write about this Ummah (i.e. Ummat e Muhammadi
), the Qalam wrote, whosoever from the Ummat e Muhammadi obeys

Allah, he will enter Jannat. The Qalam was then about to write the part
that, the one who disobeys (Allah) will be thrown into Hell.

14
All of a sudden, it was commanded,

O Qalam, Be Respectful

On hearing this Command, in fear, the Qalam split. Then, Almighty Allah
by His Divine Power, restored the Qalam, and it was commanded to write,

His Ummat is sinful and The Creator is Most Forgiving

In other words, even though they commit sins, but I place my Merciful
Sight upon them.

On one hand is the Command, and on the other hand is the (message of)
forgiveness and blessings.

O sinful Ummah! Take heed as to how compassionate your Creator is upon

you. Even though Musa has been blessed with this grand
protection, excellence and pureness, he is being commanded, (O Musa
) You cannot see me.

15
Even though you are contaminated by sins, you are being commanded,

 m Xp \

Make Dua to Me (i.e. call out to Me). I will accept (it)

[Surah Al-Mumin (40), Verse 60]

Due to just one mishap of Hazrat Adam he was made to leave
Heaven, and even though your thousands of sins, He (Allah) will enter you
into Jannat, but at this juncture, our excellence and honour does not (and
cannot) supersede the Ambia, because the distinction between the actual
marvels, and that which is attained (through the blessings of these
marvels), is clearly evident.

We are certainly not deserving of these blessings. This (excellence) which

we have attained, is through the blessings of one blessed personality, who
is the leader of the all the Prophets, and the Beloved of Allah .

Hazrat Adam was addressed with the words,

If it were not for Muhammad , I woul have neither created you,

nor the earth or the skies.

16
Wahb bin Munabbih says that, when Hazrat Adam was created, He
saw written on the Door of Jannat,

There is none worthy of worship except Allah

Muhammad is Allahs Rasool

He said, O Allah! Have you created anyone more exalted than me. Almighty
Allah said, Yes! He is in your descendants. If I had not created Him , I
would not have created you.

It is reported that when the sacred Noor of Nabi was placed in the
forhead of Nabi Adam , Hazrat Adam , said, what kind of
Noor (Light) is this?

Almighty Allah said to him, this is the Noor of that Prophet, who is the
Leader of all the Prophets, and is the best amongst your descendants.

Gradually that Noor began to penetrate through the entire body of Hazrat
Adam and his entire body became a figure of Noor (light). Then in
honour of that Noor, Almighty Allah commanded the Angels to make
Sajdah to Hazrat Adam and Allah taught him the knowledge of all
things and made him the teacher of the Angels. Almighty Allah
commanded him to write a Testament (Ahad-Naama) for the protection
of that Noor.
17
Hazrat Adam would often here a beautiful voice from his spine. He
said, O Allah! What is this voice (which I hear)?

It was said, this is the Tasbeeh of Khatimun Nabiyyeen (i.e. The Seal of
the Prophets). I will create him (physically) from your spine, and I will
place him in (your) pure descendants.

It has been mentioned in some narrations, that Hazrat Adam

looked towards the Arsh and he observed the name of Nabi Muhammad
written with Allahs Name. He asked, O Allah! Who is this, whose name You
have written with Your Name?

Almighty Allah said, he is the Leader of the Prophets. When Hazrat Adam
departed from Jannat, he felt a kind of discomfort (on earth).
Jibraeel then proclaimed,

xyz xyz

Through the Barkat of these words, his discomfort faded away, but day and
night he wept and did Istighfar thinking of his apparent oversight.

18
Take heed O Dear friends! Ponder, that Abul Bashar (i.e. the father of the
entire mankind), whom Almighty Allah created by His Divine Power (Dast
e Qudrat), and commanded the Angels to prostrate (make Sajdah) before
him. His blessed arrival was announced by the words,

! X'|
 %

Verily, Allah chose Adam

[Surah Aal e Imran (3), Verse 33]

And He (Adam ) was adorned and blessed with distinction and
honoured with,

 ! %

And we taught Adam all the names (of all things)

[Surah Baqarah (2), Verse 31]

Jannat was blessed to him as his property, and the list of Rasools
commenced from His Name (i.e. He was the first to arrive on earth). Due to
one apparent oversight, he wept day and night, and due to modesty, he
would not raise his eyes towards the sky.

19
You (i.e. we ordinary people) spend night and day committing sins, and yet
you do not weep upon your condition for even a moment. You are lost in
the luxuries and pleasure of this world, and the earth and the sky are
weeping, mourning and lamenting due to your (pitiful) condition. If the
tears of the entire universe are gathered, it can never be equal to his tears.

It is mentioned that Hazrat Adam wept for three hundred years,
but the special Mercy of Allah which He desired, was not directed towards
Him.

He would continue to repent (for his apparent oversight), but it would not
reach that level of acceptance (which he wished for). He was astonished by
this, and though deeply about what he should do, so that he could receive
that level of acceptance (which he yearned for).

Then, suddenly he remembered that, I saw written on the Door of the Arsh,

It shows that there is none more beloved to Almighty Allah than

Muhammad , for Allah has written his name, together with His Name on
the Arsh. This should be used as the Wasila (means) to attain the
forgiveness (which I wish for).

20
With this in his mind, he said in the Court of Almighty Allah, By the Wasila
of Muhammad , have mercy upon His father.

It was commanded, O Adam ! How did you recognise Muhammad

? Hazrat Adam said, I saw Laa ilaha ill-Allah Muhammadur
Rasoolullah written in Jannat.

It shows that the He is most beloved to You, in all the creation, (and)
You wrote His name, next to Yours.

Almighty Allah addressed him saying, O Adam ! I swear by My

Honour and My Majesty! If you had asked for the forgiveness of the sins of
all the people in the earth and the sky through the Wasila of Muhammad
, I would have forgiven all of them. (O Adam ) I have accepted
the intercession through His name, on your behalf.

O Adam ! He will be the Final Prophet from your descendants, and
I have created you through His Blessing. Let your title (Appellation) be
Abu Muhammad.

When Hazrat Adam wished to come close to Hazrat Hawa

it
was commanded, do not touch her without giving the Mahr (dowry). He
said, O my Creator! What is the Mahr? It was commanded, recite ten times
Durood upon Muhammad .

21
It is reported that Hazrat Hawa
would give birth two twins in each
pregnancy, but Hazrat Sheeth who was from the ancestors of
Rasool was born alone.

Hazrat Adam was commanded, Take a promise from Hazrat Sheeth
that he will not fall short in protecting that pure light (which has

been entrusted to him), and that he should not transfer it to any non-
chaste woman.

As per the command of Almighty Allah, Hazrat Adam took this
promise (i.e. undertaking) from Hazrat Sheeth , and then he raised
his head towards the sky and said,

O You alone Who is worthy of worship, and the Creator of the Arsh, and the
one who made the sun radiant. You created me according to Your Divine
Knowledge, and You blessed me with this Noor, through which You exalted
me even more. Now, that Noor has been transferred to my son Sheeth
. O Allah! Protect him, and be a witness unto this promise.

Hazrat Jibraeel descended with Angels and said, Almighty Allah
conveys Salaam to you, and commands that, you should get Sheeth
to write a Testament (i.e. a will), and let the testimony of the Angels be
written on it.

Hazrat Adam prepared (i.e. wrote) the Ahad-Naama (i.e. the
testament), and he adorned it with testimonies of the Angels, making Allah
witness to it.
22
Then, a heavenly mantle descended for Sheeth from Jannat, and
his Nikah was performed to Baidha, who was matchless in her inner and
outer beauty.

When the time for Hazrat Adam to pass from this physical world
drew near, He said to Hazrat Sheeth ;

O my son! After me, you will be the Khalifa. Do not leave the mast of piety,
and the powerful support. In other words, whenever you remember
Almighty Allah, also remember Muhammad , for I have seen His

name on every palace, chamber and veil of Jannat, and on each leaf of
Sidratul Muntaha, and on the pedestal of the Exalted Arsh. I have found
that, there is no station in the seven skies which does not bear the blessed
name (of Nabi Muhammad ).

For as long as Hazrat Sheeth remained on this earth, he protected

and honoured this blessed Noor. He was always absorbed in praising and
honouring Him . Similarly, in every era all the Nabis and Rasools
 praised and honoured Him .

23
When Hazrat Ibrahim announced his Prophethood, he raised his
blessed hands in the Court of Almighty Allah with the hope of acceptance,

     m ~ & & & ! & %

&
 %

O our Rub! And send within them, a Rasool from amongst them, that He
may render your verses upon them, and (so) that He may teach them Your
Book, and judicious knowledge; and purify them well. Verily, You alone are
The Almighty, The Most Wise. [Surah Baqarah (2), Verse 129]

The author of the book Lubaab e Kareema mentions that the pronoun His
in the following verse actually refers to Nabi .

        %

And verily, Ibrahim is from his assembly

[Surah As-Saffaat (37), Verse 83]

In other words, even though according to the era, Hazrat Ibrahim
is first, but in the sense of the meaning, he is His follower, because he
makes Dua in the manner and with the desire of followers, in praising and
glorifying Nabi .

24
The Beloved Nabi (also) says, Are you not pleased with this, that
Ibrahim and Esa are amongst you.

It is written that twelve Prophets made Dua by saying that, O Allah! Enter
us into the Ummat e Muhammadi . It is reported that once the Muslim
Battalion had stopped parrallel to a cave. Suddenly a sad voice was heard
from the cave.

Someone was saying,

O Allah! Make me from His Ummat, upon whom is Your Mercy and
Blessings, and whose Duas are accepted.

It was asked about who this was, and it was mentioned that it was Hazrat
Ilyas .

And Musa makes Dua in this manner,

O Allah! Enter me into the Ummah of Ahmed

25
Hazrat Musa was once addressed with the words,

O Musa ! Hell is the final destination of the one who does not
believe in Muhammad . He asked, O Allah! Who is Ahmed?

It was said, He is the leader of the entire creation. Before the creation of
the earth and the sky, I wrote his name with My Name on The Arsh, and
until His Ummah doesn not enter Paradise, I have made Paradise
Haraam upon all the other Ummats.

He asked, O Allah! Who are His Ummah? Allah said, They are those who
will take my name in the heights and in the valleys, and in all conditions,
they will be steadfast in my obedience. They will keep the hands, feet an
their mouths in a pure state. They will keep fast in the day and they will
worship Me at night. A little bit of their Ibaadat (worshipping) will be
accepted, and I will enter them into Heaven, simply due to the Kalima
Tauheed.

Hazrat Musa said, O Allah! Make me the Prophet of that Ummah. It
was said, There Prophet will be from amongst them.

He (Musa ) said, Then make me the Ummah of that Nabi . It was
said, You are before His era. He will arrive after you (i.e. after your era),
but I will gather you and Him in Jannat.

26
It is reported that once Musa said in the Court of Almighty, Is there
any other Ummah by You, who is more exalted than my Ummah, for You
made mist a covering over them, and you sent down Man and Salwa
(Heavenly meals) upon them.

It was said to him, O Musa ! The Ummat of Muhammad is greater

than all other Ummats. He said, Let me see them. It was said to him, you
will not be able to see them, but I will allow you to heart their voices.
Almighty Allah then called out (summoned) the Ummah. They all
responded in one voice Lab-baik Allahumma Lab-baik (We are present O
our Creator! We are present).

O Dear Friends! It is the manner of the generous ones, that when they invite
someone, they never send them back empty handed. At this time, The Most
Generous bestowed blessings upon theUmmat e Muhammadi.

Certainly, My Mercy supersedes My Wrath, and My Compassion supersedes

My punishment. I gave you before as well, without asking, and even before

27
your Dua, I blessed you with acceptance, and even before you were
disobedient I forgave you.

Whosoever comes to Me on the Day of Qiyaamat, bearing testimony to this

fact, that there is none truly worthy of worship, other than Almighty Allah,
and that Muhammad is My Most Chosen Servant, and Rasool, even
though such a person sins may be more than the foam on the sea, I will
enter him into Jannat.

A Point of Caution

O sinners of the Ummah! If you sacrifice your self upon that Mercy and
Blessings of your Creator, then it is suitable, and if you sacrifice your life
and wealth in His life and obedience, it is justified.

Honestly say, Is the obedience to such a Compassionate Master necessary

or not! If the governor of a city employs someone on a salary of ten rupees
a month, then such an employee spends his day and night in the obedience
of, and he regards his obedience upon his own wishes.

If he asks you to come to work in the morning, you are not able to sleep the
entire night, and whatever work he asks you to complete, you try to
complete it before the due time. You are not even able to eat one roti in
peace (due to the stress of completing the chore).

28
The Creator of the worlds bestows so many different favours upon you, that
the kingdom of the seven kings in reality has no value in front of it, but you
still do not obey Him.

He commands you to perform you Namaaz, but you do not perform it. He
commands you to keep fast, but you do not keep it.

He commands you to give Zakaat, but you do not give it. He commands you
to perform Hajj, but you do not perform it. He commands you to abstain
from sins, but you do not stop.

More malicious and a calamity worse than all of this, is that you have no
remorse upon your sins, and you do not even think of hiding your face in
shame.

You still try to show that you are not at fault and claim inoncence, or you
tend to say, if an employee does not remain in the service of the master, or
if he is disobedient to him, then the employee will terminate his services,
but Almighty Allah is Most Merciful of all those who show mercy, so no
matter how disobedient or how sinful we may be, He will forgive us by His
Mercy.

And do they not know that He (Allah) is Qah-haar (The Vanquisher) as well?
The wrath of none is more severe than His Wrath, and His punishment is
more severe than every punishment. Due you regard being dismissed from
your work, worse than the punishment of hell, and is it more intense than
the calamities of Hell?
29
One who knows and understands the condition and the intensity of Hell,
will feel it is easy to leave all his luxuries, wealth and everything else to be
saved from this wrath. Even though our Beloved Nabi is so exalted, he
would tremble due to the Majesty o Almighty Allah. What is your reality
(i.e. your pathetic condition) that you do not fear the Majesty of Allah.

O Dear Friend! Mans ignorance has deceived him. He relied on the

Generosity of Almighty Allah, and forgot about the wrath and retribution
of Almighty Allah.

He says,

Xn 3

A fool is one who follows the desires of his inner-self, and (still) he has
hope that Allah will forgive him

Hazrat Maula Ali says,

O Allah! Many people are arrogant about You being The Concealer, and
many are caught up in deception, due to Your favours (upon them). You
are Kareem (The Most Generous) as well, and You are also Qah-haar (The
Vanquisher), and You are also Al Haleem (Most Forbearing), and You are Al
Muntaqim (The Avenger).

30
Almighty Allah says,

Then in their place, after them, those worthless ones came, as inheritors of
the Book. They take the wealth of this world, and (they) say, We will soon
be forgiven. [Surah Al-Araf (7), Verse 169]

In other words, the wealth of the world refers to bribery. They take bribes
and then say that soon they will be forgiven. And very upright is that which
Ilmi said,

King Sulaiman bin Abdul Malik asked Abu Haazim, who was a very religious
person and a notable Aalim; how ill a servant meet with his Creator on the
Day of Qiyaamat?

He said, The pious will meet (their Creator) like a person who returned
from a journey after earning immense wealthy and belongings. His entire
family become pleased upon his arrival, and they all serve him and honour
him, and the sinner will meet (his creator) like that servant who fled after

Quran.

O Dear Friend! When you are plunged into heedlessness and disobedience,
shaitaan says, Do you not recognise me? I am him, whose platform of
teaching was once placed on the seventh sky, and the Angels have
recognized and mentioned my praises as their Teacher.

32
He (shaitaan) reached the level (of devastation) due to the slightest
disobedience and heedlessness.

You may either wear on your head the crown of sincerity, or you may wear
on your neck the shackle of affliction.

It is amazing, that you (i.e. that the same person) not eat poison by saying
that I am doing this by putting my trust in Allah, yet the same person
commits adultery, drinks alcohol and does not perform his Namaaz, and
then still says that he has hope in the Mercy of Allah. It must be understood
that the harm and destruction caused by doing these (sinful actions) is
worse than the harm caused by taking poison.

In fact, your claim that I have faith (hope) in the Mercy of Allah and I am
hopeful of His forgiveness, (even while intentionally committing all these
sins) is an excuse which is even worse than committing these sins.

Almighty Allah mentions in the Holy Quran the signs of those who truly
have faith and hope in Him.

   M X Y & % ! % %

Verily those who Believed, and those who left their homes and everything
(i.e. migrated) for the pleasure of Allah, and who fought in the way of Allah;
it is they who are hopeful of (attaining) Allahs Mercy. [Surah Baqarah (2),
Verse 218]

33
It is obvious that a person obeys the one whom he has hope from. To
commit sin and to disobey Almighty Allah, is actually a sign of not really
having any faith and hope, and not a sign of hope.

A labourer toils day and night with the hope of making a small amount of
money, and a night watchman stays up the entire night, so that he may
earn a small amount of money.

If you truly have hope in Allah (i.e. in the Mercy of Allah), then you too
should not be unnerved due to the Ibaadat of Almighty Allah.

Almighty Allah says,

& & % %

Verily, Namaaz is surely burdensome, except upon those, who prostrate

before me sincerely, who have complete faith, that they are to meet with
their Creator, and towards Him alone, will they return. [Surah Al Baqarah
(2), Verse 45]

Returning and turning towards Him (Allah) is in two ways. One is to

sincerely repent (from you sins), and then have full faith and hope in
Allahs Mercy. (Concerning this) Almighty Allah says,
34
 %
        % %

And whosoever commits sinful acts, or does injustice unto his soul, and
then seeks forgiveness from Allah, he will find Allah Most Forgiving, Most
Merciful. [Surah An-Nisa (4), Verse 110]

The second is to sincerely remain day and night in His (Allahs)

remembrance and Ibaadat, and to think that this Ibaadat is not really
worthy of His Excellence, but (to know that) He (Allah) is Most Generous
and Most Compassionate. To have complete faith in His Kindness and
Generosity, that He will not reject our Ibaadat.

Almighty Allah says,

Grace, that He will not sieze us harshly on the day of Qiyaamat.

O Beloved! You say (that) if you truly love Allah, then obey me; Allah will

SubhaanAllah! Such is the excellence of our Beloved Nabi that even his
follower (adherent) is beloved to Almighty Allah, but to be arrogant due to
this is simply futile, because to call yourself His follower (adherent) is
one thing, and to truly be His follower is something else.

Almighty Allah mentions the qualities of the true adherents of His Beloved
Rasool (in this manner),

36

So, it is near that I will write for them bounties, who fear and give Zakaat,
and who believe in Our signs. Those who will truly adhere to that Rasool
taught by none (but Allah), who is the informer of the unseen. [Surah Al-
Araf (7), Verse 156]

Hazrat Shaya was told,

On the day I created the earth and the sky, I willed that I will set
Prophethood in different nation, and I will grant kingship to subjects,
honour to the disgraced, strength to the weak, and wealth to the poverty-
stricken, and knowledge to the ignorant, and leadership (power of
governance) to the uneducated.

It has been mentioned in the Taurah, Muhammad will smile abundantly,

He will be a slayer (of the devious). He will ride a camel, and he will
wear a shimla (i.e. a tail behind the turban).

Important Note

The meaning of one who will smile abundantly and one who will be a
slayer, is that He will be kind towards the Muslims and He will fight
against the unbelievers (when they intend to harm Islam).

37
Another meaning of slaying here, means to win the hearts of the people
with His beautiful smile and by way of His wonderful character,
whereby He will slay (i.e. win over) their hearts. Wearing a shimla, means
to wear a tail at the back of the turban.

It is also mentioned in the Taurah, O Nabi! We have sent you as a witness

and as a proclaimer of glad-tidings, and as a warner, and as refuge for the
uneducated. You are My Chosen Servant and My Rasool. I kept your name
resigned (to My Will).

Neither is He harsh in His manner of speech, nor is He fierce. Neither

is He one who screams in the marketplaces, nor is He one who
avenges wrong with wrong.

Rather, He will pardon and forgive, and he will overlook, and He will
not pass away from this world before Allah straightens the curved Deen
(i.e. before correcting the Deeni ways of the people), due to Him .

He will do this, in this way, that the people will proclaim Laa ilaha ill-Allah,
and they will not lose this (Deen). Due to this Kalima, blind eyes (will see),
deaf ears (will hear), and lost hearts (will find peace).

38
It is also mentioned,

His Ummat are True Praisers. In other words, they will proclaim the
praises of Almighty Allah everywhere (i.e. wherever they go), and they will
proclaim the Takbeer at all heights.

It is further said, that they are steadfast in their impartiality. They perform
Wudu and strive for the sake of Allah, and they stand in line in Namaaz.
There Muadhin calls out to them from the heights, as his call echoes in the
sky. At night their voices are like the sound of the honey bee.

It is further said that, He will be born in Makkah, and He will migrate

to Taaba (i.e. Madina) and His Kingdom is in Syria, just as it has been
mentioned in Ma-alim At Tanzeel (which is an authentic book of Tafseeer).

Almighty Allah bestowed special blessings upon the Ummah of Hazrat

Musa , I have made the earth a Masjid (place of Sajdah) and Tahoor
(pure) for you, and I sent down Sakina upon you, and I granted you the
power of memorising (protecting) the Taurah.

The Bani Israeel said, we do not have the strength to withstand Sakina, and
with the acception of thePrayer Site, we will perform our Salaah elsewhere,
and we will recite the Taurah while looking at it.

It was commanded, soon, I will write this (i.e. command this) for them (i.e.
for that nation), who will live with piety, and give Zakaat, and bring Imaan
(believe) in our verses (i.e. signs).
39
They will follow that Rasool who will not be taught by any in the creation,
about whom they have found written in the Taurah and Injeel. He will
command them to do righteous deeds, and He will forbid them from
evil.

He will make pure things Halaal upon them and impure things Haraam
upon them, and He will lighten their burdens, and He will remove
from them, the difficulties which they faced.

So, those who bring Imaan in Him , and those who adhere to His

excellence, victory and Light, which has been bestowed upon Him , are
the ones who will attain salvation.

This is the essence of the meaning of the verse of Almighty Allah,

 %
    i % % % % & i
X% 3% % % %i

So, it is near that I will write for them bounties, who fear and give Zakaat,

taught by none (but Allah), who is the informer of the unseen. [Surah Al-
Araf (7), Verse 156]

40
Wahi (revelation) descended upon Hazrat Ismaeel ,

A great person will be born in your descendants, for a great Ummah

It is in Sahifa (Scripture) of Hazrat Shaya that,

He will not bow down to desire, and He will not look down on even those
who are disgraced, but have good character, and He will give strength
to the Siddiqeen. He is the support of the modest. He is the light of
Allah, which can never go off. He will bring the lost hearts back to life,
and He will open the blinded eyes, and deaf ears. This (honour) will only
be afforded to Mushqah and to none others.

Important Note

Mushqah in the Suryani Language (i.e. in Syriac) means Muhammad. In

the forty fourth hymn from the hymns of Hazrat Dawud it is
written, O Jab-bar! Hang your sword, for names and legislations, are
connected to the awe of your hand.

41
Important Note

In the verse,

% &

And you are not one, who will compel them in any way
[Surah Al-Qaf (50), Verse 45]

The negation of Him being one who does not compel here is in the sense
of Takabbur (i.e. He is not arrogant).

It is mentioned in the Dua of Dawud that, O Allah send for us that
Prophet, who will establish the Sunnah after the respite, in other words,
the one who will establish the manner of the Ambia .

Kaab Ahbaar says, Once, the Muslim Army was flying in the air, when
suddenly it passed over Madina. Hazrat Sulaiman said, this city is
the city to which the Final Prophet will migrate (make Hijrat).

Glad-tidings upon those who will bring Imaan (i.e. believe) in Him and
follow Him . They then flew towards the Baitullah (Kaaba). The Baitullah
began to weep. It was asked, why are you weeping?

The Kaaba said, a Prophet from amongst your Prophets, and one from
amongst your beloveds, passed by here, but neither did he descend upon

42
me, nor did He perform Namaaz (in me), and idols are worshipped around
me.

Almighty Allah said, Do not weep! I will fill you (to capacity) with those
who will prostrate (worshippers), and I will reveal in you an original Book,
and I will create the Final Prophet, who is more beloved to me than all the
Prophets, and I will put such people in you, who will worship Me, and I will
make your Hajj Fard upon my servants, and they will return to you like
birds return to their nests, and they will weep eagerness to visit you, like a
camel weeps uncontrollably for her young, and like a pigeon goes towars
its eggs, and I will cleanse you of idols and idol-worshippers.

Wahb bin Munabbih says that, I saw written in seventy one books (Kitaabs)
that the intellect of all the people together compared to the intellect of
Nabi , is like one speck of dust compared to an entire desert, and verily,
His intellect supercedes the intellect of all, and His opinion is the
most exalted opinion.

His attributes are mentioned in the Injeel in this manner, In His

hand is a iron sword, with which He will make Jihad. His Ummah will
also fight in this manner (i.e. for the sake of defending righteousness).
Hazrat Esa was commanded,

Listen and Beware, O Son of the Chaste Virgin! I created you without a
father, as a sign for the entire universe, so worship Me alone, and have full
faith only in Me, and say to the People of Soodaan, that I alone am Allah,
The Alive, The All Existing, Who will remain forever Alive; and testify (i.e.
43
acknowledge) that Nabi who is not taught by any in the creation, who
will ride a camel, (wear the) Qamees (Islamic Upper Garb), a Turban, and
Sacred Footwear; and His hair is wonderfully straight. His neck is
humbly arched. His forehead is broad, His eyes are black, His
eyelashes (beautifully) are curved, His eyebrows meet each other, His
nose is raised in the middle, His cheek (bones) are distinct, His
beard is full, His perspiration (drops) are like pearls, His fragrance is
better than musk, and His neck looks like a silver vessel.

It was commanded, O Esa

! You and your Ummah, bring Imaan
(i.e. Believe) in Muhammad . If I had not created Him , I would have
not created Heaven and Hell. When I established the Arsh on water, it
began to tremble. I inscribed on it ( ) . By
inscribing on it this Kalima, it stabilised (i.e. it stopped trembling).

Hazrat Esa said that, Farqaleet, in other words, the one who will
separate truth from falsehood, will come, who will not say anything on his
own accord. He will only say that which Allah commands him to. He will
speak to you softly, according to your right. He will inform you of hidden
things and of calamities (which will befall you).

This is all mentioned in the Book of Yuhana, which the Christians call the
fourth Injeel (i.e. The Fourth Old Testament).

It is quoted from this, for me to separate from you is beneficial to you,

because if I do not leave, Farqaleet will not come towards you. Hence, when
I leave, I will send him to you, and when He arrives, he will rebuke the
44
world, and blame them, due to their sinful ways, and because they did not
bring Imaan (believe) in me.

Important Note

Farqaleet is a Greek word, which is the composition of many meanings,

and all of them prove true for our Beloved Nabi . (Some of these
meanings are as follows):

1. A Consoler
2. An Intercessor
3. An Envoy
4. One who is abundantly Praised (This is the meaning of Muhammad)
5. One who Praises in abundance (This is the meaning of Ahmed)

In the Hebrew version of the Injeel, the word Ahmed has been mentioned.
The translator translated it as Farqaleet. To translate names has been a
habit of translators of the people of the book. Hence, in the 1671 Arabic
edition, the exact same has been written. The other translators have also
translated this. Some have translated it to mean, the consoler, while others
translated it to mean, an intercessor or, an envoy.

Those translations are word for word truly attributed to Nabi Muhammad
, as is in accordance with what has been mentioned in the Quran.
However they do not write, the one who is praised abundantly.

45
The strange thing is that the Christians clearly reject making any
alterations to the blessed book and yet the translators still do not abstain
for making such alterations.

In the same article, the translator of the 1839 edition did something very
strange. He altered the pronoun attributed to Farqaleet, from its male
designation to a female designation. The objective was to attribute this
towards the Angel Jibraeel .

In the 1811 edition, the phrase, If I do not leave, then the consoler, will not
arrive is identical to the sentence, He will live amongst you,' and why
should this not be so?

It is indeed amazing. These are the kind of people who are called trustable!
Now, the Christians scholars should wear spectacles of impartiality over
their eyes, and look at how it is a path to that which is in the light of the
following verse of the Quran, as per our claim,

         % & m i

(Those) Who write the Book with their own hands,

and then say that it is from Allah. [Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Verse 79]

   %

46
The Truth has arrived, and Falsehood has been destroyed,
Verily, Falsehood was certainly to be destroyed.
[Surah Bani Israeel (17), Verse 81]

However, someone exquisitely said, prejudice causes man to lose his

intellect. Both these scholars, did not absolutely understand from the
words of Hazrat Esa , that when he comes, he will reprimand the
world, and that he will accuse (or blame) due to sins, because they will not
bring Imaan (believe) in me.

From this it is clearly evident that Farqaleet which appear over those who
oppose Hazrat Esa , and He will confirm his word (Esa ) and
He will refute those who opposed him.

According to the Christians, the Ruh (i.e. Jibraeel ) was only
visible to some of his disciples in one corner. The Beloved Nabi

confirmed Hazrat Esa and blamed the Jews, for not believing in
Hazrat Esa .

Similarly, in the context of the information, there are many proofs present
which prove that they refer to Muhammad , and even this is a Mujaza
(miracle) of our Beloved Nabi , that for hundred of years, hundreds of
thousands of adversaries have been attempting to remove from their
books, all signs and attributes which point to Him .

47
Thousands of blessed books have been altered (by them) with this aim.
Wherever they found His name, there they altered it, and whichever
phrase they thought was best to put concerning him (to alter the actual
text), they added.

In some places, they added a word which would change the meaning of the
words, causing it not to be attributed towards Him . In other places they
altered it by putting what was first, afterwards, so that the meaning may
be distorted. However, as per the words of someone,

'/01234567 '()*+,--.%&

Even today there are so many attributes of our Master mentioned in the
ancient books and scriptures; to present all of them, will require volumes.
So much has been mentioned in awe inspiriting references. Those who
wish to, may take a look at them.

Abu Musa Ashari states, when the letter of Nabi reached King Najashi
(Negus of Abyssinia). He brought Imaan immediately on reading it and said,
I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear
witness that Muhammad is Allahs Rasool. (He further said), Indeed, this
is the same Nabi, concerning whose birth Hazrat Esa gave glad-
tidings. If I were not embroiled in the disputes of kingship, I would have
presented myself in His Blessed Court, and I would have served Him .

48
When the letter of Nabi reached Heraclius, the King of Rome. He asked
Abu Sufyan (who had gone to Rome on a business venture), about the
character and habits of Nabi .

After listening (to Abu Sufyan) he said to his interpreter, say to him that
you have said that He is from Noble lineage, and A Prophet is indeed
from the elite of a nation. You say that there was no King amongst His
ancestors. If there had to be any king amongst them, then I would have
thought that He desires to rule over their kingdom. You have said that
his followers are mostly the weak, and these are the people who are the
true followers of Prophets.

You also said that even before announcing His Nubuwwah, He never
told any lies, so one who does not bear to lie to the people, will not attribute
lies to Allah. You say that none of his true followers become displeased with
His Deen, thereby becoming a Murtad (apostate), and indeed this is the
condition of Imaan, when its fondness enters the heart.

You say that His followers are growing (in number), and (indeed) Imaan is
something which grows, until it is not perfected. You say that we have
fought against Him , and sometimes they are victorious and sometimes
we are victorious, and (indeed) Prophets are tested in this manner, but in
the end it is He who will be victorious. You say that he does not break a
promise, and (indeed) a Prophet never breaks a promise.

49
You say that before Him none amongst you claimed Nubuwwah. If this
had been the case, then I would have thought that He was imitating
them.

He then asked Abu Sufyan, what does He command people to do? He

replied, He commands people to perform Namaaz, give Zakaat, show
kindness to family and to elders, and to live pure lives.

He said, if your statements are true, then indeed He is a true Prophet,

and I knew well that He will be born, but I never imagined that He
would be from amongst you (i.e. the Arabs).

If I had conviction of reaching Him , then I would have met with Him
and I would have washed His Sacred Feet, and indeed His Kingdom
will spread upto here.

It is proven from some narrations that before receiving the Blessed Letter
from Rasool , Heraclius said to his people, tonight I asked from the
astrologers, and they said that the Final King has arrived.

The people thought that someone will born amongst the Jews. When the
Blessed Letter reached him, and the King realised that the awaited Prophet
is He . He wrote about this to his friend who used to live amongst the
Romans, and who was as knowlegeable as him.

50
He also wrote back saying that, indeed the Final Prophet of the Last Era has
been born. Heraclius then gathered the leaders of Rome in a palace. He then
had the door shut, and then addressed them.

He said, if you wish to have salvation, and what is best for you, and for your
Kingdom to remain in your control, then you should all bring Imaan
(believe) in the Final Rasool. On hearing this, the Romans began to leap
around like wild beasts.

When the King noticed that they had hatred for Islam, he said to them, I
was just testing you, to see how firm you were in your Religion. On hearing
this, all of them became pleased, and they prostrated before the King.

It is reported that when the envoys of Najran intended to do Mubahala with

the Beloved Rasool , then their leader Aqib said, you know (well) that
Muhammad is a true Prophet, and when a Prophet makes Dua against a
nation, then punishment befalls them immediately.

In the morning, the Beloved Rasool took with him Sayyidatuna Faatima
Zahra
, Imam Husain , and Hazrat Ali Murtaza and went out for
the Mubahala. At that time Abul Haarith said to the people,

O my nation! I am looking at such faces, that if they make Dua, they will
cause the mountains to tremble. If you do Mubahala with them, then verily
we will perish. In the end they refused to do Mubahala, and preferred to
pay the Jizyah (Tax).

51
He says, If they did Mubahala, then all of them would have transformed
into monkeys and swines, and fire would have rained upon them from the
wilderness, and a year from that day, there would be no signs of any
Christians on earth.

Important Note

It is in Tafseer Baidhawi that the meaning of is in the context of

Lanat (curse), and originally it is in the sense of abstention. It is in
Maaalim,

In other words, Mubahala means to curse, and the manner (or this) is both
parties should gather together with their families at one place, and they
should say, the curse of Allah should befall the one who is a liar amongst
both of us.

When the Najran delegation argued with Nabi about Tauheed (i.e. the
Oneness of Allah), it was commanded;

    ~
 %
K L m X n % & M %

52
Then (O Beloved ), Say to those who debate with you about Esa, after the
knowledge has been revealed to you; Arise! Let us call our sons and your
sons, and our women and your women, and our souls and your souls, then
we will do Mubahala, casting the curse of Allah upon the Liars. [Surah Aal
e Imran (3), Verse 61]

From this, the nobility of the blessed family is evident, since the Beloved
Rasool chose them from the entire Ahle Bait. He took Imam Husain
as His son, and took Hazrat Ali as part of himself.

Our Beloved Nabi and Hazrat Ali were the foundation of this Mubala,
and they went as one (i.e. togther) in the declaration of Tauheed (i.e. the
Oneness of Allah), and this is such an excellence, which is second to none.

Shah Abdul Aziz Saaheb writes in Tohfa Ithna Ashariyah, Jarood

bin Mundhir the christian, said in the exalted Court of Rasoolullah that,
I swear by Him, who sent You with the truth, we found your praises
written in the Injeel, and the son of Maryam (Hazrat Esa ), gave
glad-tidings of your coming.

On His return from Taif, He stopped over in the ochard of Utbah and
Shaiba. They sent some dates by the hand of Addas the christian, who was
there slave.

53
He recited Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem and ate them. Addas was
surprised by this, as it was not a manner of the people of this city (i.e. Taif).

He asked him about his motherland and he said, (he was from) Nineveh.
He said, That is the village of a pious man, in other words, Yunus
. He said, How do you know him? He said, He was my brother. I am

a Prophet as well, and he too was a Prophet.

On hearing these words, Addas fell at the feet of Nabi and he began to
kiss the hands and feet of Rasoolullah . Utbah and Shaiba asked his
reason for displaying such respect and honour (to Nabi ). He said, O my
masters! There is no person walking this earth who is greater than this
personality. He said that, which none but a Prophet will know.

It has been mentioned in some narrations that that Addas said, I saw your
attributes in the Taurah and in the Injeel, and for a very long time, I have
been awaiting your blessed arrival.

It is said that after Esa ascended (into the heavens), when people
left the true Deen and chose kufr and shirk, the righteous people sought
advice from another.

They said, if we fight with these tyrants and are killed, who will protect the
Deen? It is best that we spread out on the earth, until that Nabi comes,
concerning whom Hazrat Esa informed us.

54
After this advice, some of them went into the wilderness, while others went
into seclusion. Those, who remained alive until the era of Nabi , brought
Imaan on Him . Similarly, the Jews were also aware of the Nubuwwah
and excellence of the Beloved Rasool , even before His Blessed Arrival.
They unanimously praised Him , and they would give people glad-
tidings, and they would say that, until that Nabi who has been mentioned
in the Taurah, and whose name will be Muhammad does not come, we
will not leave our Religion. When the mushriks (polytheists) would trouble
them, they would make this Dua,

. XY b b3 h

O Allah! Assist us through the Final Prophet, whose praise is

mentioned in the Taurah

Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran,

    % X n

And before that, they asked victory over the unbelievers, through the
Wasila of the same Nabi [Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Verse 89]

Haakim and Baihaqi and Abu Nuaim reported that when the Jews of
Khaybar and Madina went out in battle against the polytheists of India,
such as the Juhaina and the Ghatkan, and with the Bani Asad etc. they
would say,
55
O Allah! Our Creator! Through the blessing of that Prophet Ahmed , who
was not taught by any creation, (and) whom You promised to send in this
era; and through (the blessings) of the Final Book, which You will reveal
upon Him , grant us assistance over the enemies. Through the blessings
of this Dua, they would attain victory.

When the Beloved Nabi announced His Prophethood, then some of

the Jews after seing His characteristics mentioned in the Taurah and in
the sayings of the other Prophets, became Muslims, such as Hazrat Ibn
Yameen and Thalaba, Asad, Usaid, and Abdullah bin Salaam .
Almighty Allah mentions them as the witnesses to the Prophethood of Nabi
.

These people live behind China, alongside the sea shore. In their country,
it rains at night and it becomes clear in the day. They are farmers, and all
of them are equal in money and wealth (property etc.).

On the eve of Meraj, Jibraeel took the Beloved Rasool there. He
then said to them, recognise Him, for He is Muhammad .

They all brought Imaan in Nabi Kareem and they said, Hazrat Musa
commanded us to stop revering the Sabbath and to adopt the Friday,
and he commanded us, that whomsoever from amongst you gets to meet
Muhammad , he should convey my Salaam to him.

He replied to the Salaam of Hazrat Musa . He commanded

them to perform their Namaaz, to give Zakaat, and not live anywhere else

except for their country, and he taught them ten Surahs of the Holy Quran,
and explained to them the rules of the Shariah.

These are those who were blessed with assistance, by the everlasting
fortune, and those who have been written amongst the unfortunate by
Almighty Allah from the very beginning, they said that, if this Nabi was
born in our nations, indeed we would have brought Imaan in Him .

How can the children on Yaqub bear to be obedient to some other nation!
Some have said that this is not the Nabi who has been mentioned in the
Taurah, even thought they had complete conviction regarding His

Nubuwwat.

So, the curse of Allah, is upon the rejecters (unbelievers)

It is reported that when this verse was revealed,

Abdullah ibn Salaam said to Hazrat Umar that, indeed the Ahle Kitaab
(people of the Book), recognise Nabi better than we recognise our own
children, because sometimes you can doubt your children, thinking that
the women has been distrustful, and there is absolutely no doubt in His
Prophethood.

It is mentioned in Jalaalain that it is reported from Abdullah bin Salaam

that I recognised Rasoolullah immediately, on seeing Him . Some
Tafseers mention that, one day he said to the Salama and to to Mahajir, do
you know not, that Almighty Allah said to Hazrat Ibrahim that, I
will create a Nabi from the descendants of Hazrat Ismaeel . His
name shall be Ahmed. Whomsoever brings Imaan in Him will be on the
right path, and whomsoever rejects Him , he will become accursed.
Salama heard this and became Muslim, and Mahajir was deprived of the
gift of Imaan.

And, who turns their face away from the Religion of Ibrahim, except him
who is foolish; and indeed we have chosen him in this world, and certainly
in the hereafter, he is from those who deserve to be amongst Our close
ones. [Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Verse 130]

Salamah bint Qais says, there was a Jew who used to live in the area of Bani
Abdul Ashmal. He passed by our gathering and said to us aloud, O
polytheists! O idol worshippers! You do not know what will happen after
death. After death, all will be brought back to life, and heaven and hell, and
the Scale will be brought forth, and the accountability of deeds will take
place, and every person will be given the recompense for his deeds.

By Allah! If in exchange for the fire of that day, I am put into a burning
oven, and its door is shut, I will fall over in happiness. The evidence of these
words of mine is a Prophet, who will soon come here from the direction of
Makkah, and whatever I am saying, He will prove it before you.

When the Beloved Rasool arrived in Madina, that Jew did not bring
Imaan. We rebuked him, reminding him about what he told us that day. He
said, I remember it well, but this is not that Prophet about whom I was
speaking.

It is in Fathul Baari (the annotation of Bukhari), on the authority of Hazrat

Aisha Siddiqa
that, a Jew was resident in Makkah. He asked the
Quraish if any male child was born to them. They said that they did not

60
know. He said, go and check. Indeed, the Nabi of this Ummah was born
tonight.

There is a sign on both His shoulders. On hearing this, people

investigated, and found that a boy was born in the home of Abdullah bin
Abdul Mutallib.

The Jew accompanied them to the house of Hazrat Amina

. Hazrat
Amina
showed the blessed child to him. When he saw the Sign of
Nubuwwah, he passed out, and he then said, Nubuwwat has come to an
end in the Bani Israeel. O Quraish! By Allah! You will be blessed with such
greatness, which will transcend the East and the West.

Baihaqi reports in Dalaail un Nubuwwah that, a Jewish boy used to serve

at the blessed home of Nabi . When he became ill once, Nabi went to
visit him, and there He saw the boys father sitting at his headside
reciting the Taurah.

I give you the Qasm (Oath) of that Allah, who revealed the Taurah upon
Musa , is my praise and my attributes and the place where I will be
born, mentioned in the Taurah. He said, No! The young boy said, Ya
RasoolAllah ! Indeed, we find your praise, your attributes and your place
of birth mentioned in the Taurah, and I bear witness that there is none
worhty of worship except Allah, and You are Allahs Rasool.

It is written in Tafseer Baidhawi that, after the victory of the Battle of Badr,
the Jews of Bani Nudair acknowledged that, this is the same Nabi who has
61
been mentioned in the Taurah. However, due to jealousy, and arrogance,
they did not bring Imaan.

It is in Maalimut Tanzeel that, Tuba Hamyari the King of Yemen was the
first person to garb the Kaaba, and he occupied Samarkand. He attacked
Madina.

The people of Madina would fight the entire day, and in the evening, they
would send food to his army. The King was extremely astonished by this
gesture of theirs. One day, Kaab and Asad who were two scholar, went to
him, and said, this is the City of a great Nabi, who will be born in Makkah
and migrate towards Madina. His name is Muhammad .

As a mark of respect Tuba discontinued the fighting with the people of

Madina. He abandoned idol-worshipping and accepted the Religion of
Ahbar (The Priest).

O Beloved! Look at the Divine Power of Almighty Allah with the eyes of
edification and look at how Tuba, Habeeb Najjar, Zaid bin Amr and the
Muwahids in the error of ignorance, even before the coming of Nabi

brought Imaan on Him just by hearing about His attributes, brought

Iman on Him . Abu Jahl, Abu Lahab, Utbah, Shaiba, Ubay bin Khalf,
Umayya, Uqbah bin Abi Muheet, Nudhr bin Haarith, and Kaab bin Ashraf
etc. saw thousands of Miracles with their eyes, and they would listen to the
recitation of the Quran with their ears, but they did not become Muslim.
Salman Farsi fell in love with Beloved Rasool even without seeing Him
. For a very long time, he went from city to city in desire of reaching Him

62
. Sometimes he accepted the Religion of the Jews, and sometimes the
way of the Christians. Finally, he reached his final objective, yet the
mushrikeen of makkah, even though they were so near to Him , and they
were from the same land, they remained delarious and removed from their
hearts that which was told to them. Day and night they saw that unique
beauty and radiance, and they would hear His blessed words, but still
they did not bring Imaan.

<=>?@A>B34  ! 89  :; .

Leave all of them on one side, and put Abu Talib on one side. He spent his
life in serving Nabi and obeying Him (in worldly issues) without any
shortcomings, and he even wrote a poem in His praise, but he was
deprived of the gift of Imaan.

When at the time of his death, Nabi reminded him to recite the Kalima
Shareef, he said, I believe in you being the truthful, but people will say that
due to the difficulties of death, I became afraid and became a Muslim.

It is mentioned in one narration that he said,

Xn x

I chose the fire of hell, over dishonour

63
O Beloved! He (Allah) is The Most Revered and The Divine Controller. He
may deprive whom He wills, even though they may be in the Kaaba that
they will not even receive the fragrance of Imaan.

Yet (if He Wills), He may bless His love and passion to one who is inside a
synagogue, that he may break the Zunar (belt or girdle worn by Jew or
Christian as sign of recognition) and run towards the Masjid.

The wives of Nuh and Lut go towards hell, while the wife
of Firawn is resting in the gardens of Paradise.

Abu Jahl whose enmity and rebelliousness is notorious and second to none,
is well known for this, but his son Ikrama is appointed the Commander
of the Muslim Army.

Waleed is the one, whose eight faults were pointed out By Almighty Allah
in the Quran, and his son (Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed ) was blessed with
being The Sword of Allah.

O Beloved! This discourse was intended to show that to have connection to

the pious without following them properly and obeying them, will not be
of any benefit, and neither is their piety and excellence simply by
connection without adherence.

64
The status of those relatives and companions of Nabi who sacrificed
their lives and wealth in His love, and those who left their homes and
cities in the way of their Master , is far greater than ours even if we
spend a mountain of gold in the way of Allah, it is not equal to even one Sa
(3 kg 838.2 grams) of barley which they spent in the way of Allah.

It is mentioned that when the Jews of Babi Quraiza were surrendered, their
leader Kaab bin Asad said,

O Quraiza! You are now in such a difficult position, that with the exception
of three options, you have no other option. His Naat (praise) has been
mentioned in the Taurah, and Ibn Jawas (who was among the senior and
elite of the Jewish Rabbis) also informed that the Nabi will come in this
city, and he advised that we should follow and obey him, and that we
should pass his Salaam to the Nabi . Now abstain from enmity and
underhandedness, and bring Imaan in Him . His nation said, we will not
give any other Kitaab precedence over the Taurah.

When Dhagaatir, who was a reliable Christian Scholar, heard from Dahi
Kalbi about the excellence of Rasoolullah and then Qaiser summoned
him to be informed about Rasoolullah , in the colossium, where all the
leaders of Rome were present. He said,

O People! I have brought faith in Muhammad e Arabi . He is the same

Prophet about whom Esa gave glad-tidings, and His attributes
and praises are present in the past Books. You too must bring Imaan in Him
. On hearing this, the people ran towards him, and martyred him.

65
In this same manner, the Ummats of past Prophets bore testimony about
Him , and praised Nabi , until He announced His Risaalat. The
mirror of the hearts of those who were pure from the stains of enmity and
jealousy, immediately brought Imaan, and without any hesitation they
said,

Therefore, on the day when He announced His Nubuwwah, He said

to Hazrat Siddique e Akbar, I have been blessed with Nubuwwah (i.e. I have
been commanded to announce my Nubuwwah). Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique
said, I have brought Imaan.

As for those whose hearts were dark, and their ears were deaf (from
hearing the truth), and their tongues were mute (from testifying to the
truth), and whose eyes were blind (from seeing the truth), according to the
command,

 &

Deaf, dumb, blind; so they are never to return

[Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Verse 18]

66
Such people are deprived of the light of understanding and wealth of
Imaan. They witnessed thousands of miracles, but they did not become
Muslims.

As for those who absorbed in the love of this world and in following the
ways of their forefathers in kufr and shirk, and ignorance, envy and conflict
had not yet fully settled in their hearts, then some of them accepted Islam
when it was explained to them, while others accepted after witnessing the
Miracles or the manners and etiquette (of Nabi Kareem ), to the extent
that within a very short period of time, this Deen spread to great distances,
and an entire world began to recite His Kalima.

His blessed name is proclaimed five times daily in the Azaan and
Iqaamat. The Angels of the seven skies and the residents of the seven
domains throughout the earth, send Durood upon Nabi . People in the
East, the West, the North and in the South sing His praises from
Minarets and Pulpits.

An entire realm is drowned in the sea of His love, and an entire cosmos
regards His blessed name as the essence of their soul and their litany.

On the eve of Meraj, all the Ambia praised the Beloved Rasool ,
and all the Maidens of Jannat (Hur) and the Servants of Jannat (Ghilman)
are absorbed in His love.

67
Even Almighty Allah, our Creator praises and glorifies Him , and
Almighty Allah remembers Nabi with the most exalted honour and
excellence.

The excellence and distinction which has been honoured to the Beloved
Rasool in this world and the next, has not been afforded to any of the
closest Angels or any of the other most elite amongst the Prophets.

The status and the distinction which has been afforded to Nabi Kareem
has not been given to any othe Nabi or Wali.

This distinction which has been afforded to the Beloved Rasool is

progressing on a daily basis.

The marvels of the Ambia and the Angels are within specified limitations,
but this specification and limit cannot conceal the marvels of Nabi
Muhammad .

68
Almighty Allah says,

 % x L

And undoubtedly, the following one is better for you

than the preceding one. [Surah Ad-Duha (93), Verse 4]

This is why it has been mentioned that the distinction and honour which
will be blessed to Nabi on the Day of Qiyaamat cannot be compare in
any way to that of this world.

On that day, there will be seventy thousand Angels escorting Him , and
all the people from the beginning of time until the end of time, will be
looking at His beautiful face. All will be holding His Merciful Mantle.

The Ambia, The Mursaleen, and Angels will be trembling in the fear of
Almighty Allah, and Nabi will be seated with honour on the Arsh or on
the Kursi close to the Arsh, in the Divine Presence of His Creator.

Who dares to really explain this amazing moment, and to interfere in the
case of the The One who Truly Loves, and His Beloved .

69
In conclusion, (it must be said that) in this verse, the mention of exalting
His remembrance, is in actual fact attributed to the unique distinticion
afforded to Him . Hence, in other part (of the Holy Quran) it is
mentioned,

  m
 J %
(O Beloved ) Undoubtedly, We have blessed you with countless virtues
(Kawthar) [Surah Al-Kauthar (108), Verse 1]

This remembrance is one which is countless, and the word here is past
participle which gives the meaning of continuity. In other words, His
distintion and eminence is continuous and established.

In some places it is mentioned that it was said,

In other words, Cherisher of the Universe (Almighty Allah) said to His
Beloved Rasool , it is Me and You, and whatever else is except this, I have
created for you. The Beloved Rasool answered, it is Me and You, and
everything besides this, I have left, for You. The alphabet Laam in the word
Laka, i.e for you, is in the sense of being beneficial.

70
In other words, Sometimes eminence harms a person, because turning
towards the people, keeps him away from work. It is for this reason that it
is said,

Eminence (i.e. Fame) is devastating, and anonymity is peace

Sometimes, (eminence/fame) is something which is neither beneficial, nor

harmful, just as fame is apparent through frustration, and to be unknown
(anonymous) is a cause of peacefulness. So, this eminence is separate from
both these categories. It is in fact splendidly beneficial, because the one
who is aware of His conditon, sends Durood upon Him , and obeys
and follows Him , thereby attaining the bounties of both worlds.

By virtue of the Command,

The one who has revived one person,

it is as if he has revived the entire mankind

 XY

Whoever introduces in Islam a good practice, then for him is its reward,
and the reward of those who act upon it.

71
The Blessing of this blessed deed is also receive by the Beloved Rasool .
And for the sake of Allah, just as Imam Bouseeri said,

3 XY

Almighty Allah says,

 %
    %

So that Allah may forgive due to you, the sins of your formers and your
latters. [Surah Al-Fatah (48), Verse 2]

This is said even though the Beloved Rasool is free from sins. The
alphabet Laam here demonstrates specification, and this is of two types.
The first is without claim or merit, as is in the case of the phrase
# and the second is with claim or merit, just as in the case of,
and here the more suitable one, is the second type. Hence, it has
been mentioned, that this specification is something which is not co-
incidental, but the causes and the necessitating factors of disctinction are
all present in your personality, and unique to you

.
