Executive Summary

In an organization satisfaction of workers means a workforce that is motivated and committed to

high quality performance. There are various components considered to be vital to employees
satisfaction. There are pay promotion, benefits, supervise to co-workers, work condition,
communication, safety, productivity and the work itself. Each of these factors, figures into an
individual's satisfaction differently. One might think pay is considered to be the most important in
employee satisfaction, although this has not been found to be true. Employees are more concerned
with working in an environment they enjoy. To the employees satisfaction brings a pleasurable
emotional state that often leads to a positive work attitude of satisfied worker is more likely to be
creative, flexible, innovative and loyal.
Employee satisfaction is the terminology used to describe whether employees are happy and
contented to the workplace and fulfilling their desires and needs at work. In today most of the
organizations believe employee satisfaction is the key to reach their vision. Because happy
employees are loyal, productive employees. Employee satisfaction is not just about money, and
their happiness can have a very real and direct impact on the organization's bottom line. This
survey on RFL Group took place to find out if the employees here are happy at work. The purpose
of the survey is to know how satisfied the employees herein with the work environment, and their
experiences with management and how to create a much happier workplace.
RFL started its journey in 1980. Now around 12,000 employees work here towards the country.
Among them a representative sample of 10 executives from RFL main office in Badda was selected
to participate in this survey. There were 36 questions contained in the survey under five specific
categories - Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, Camaraderie and six answer scales were included
to measure the level of agreement and level of importance for each question.
Sheetz Inc. is one of the leading retail store in USA with around 27,000 employees holding the
honor of listed #87 in Fortune Magazines list of 100 Best place to work. I, in this report try to
comparison between Sheetz and RFL and try to find out what are the shortcomings of RFL, and
what are the exclusive opportunities Sheetz Inc. provide to its employees.
In the end of the report I try to put some recommendation which I am sure if followed the
employees of RFL could feel more positive about their workplace and would never want to leave
the organization.
