To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to express my support for Ms. Sydney Reed. I had the privilege to meet
Sydney and get to know through her internship course at Banner University Medical Center-Tucson. I
was her preceptor on a labor and delivery unit and got to know her very well.

During my time with Sydney, I noticed several traits that will make her an outstanding nurse.
She has an undeniable passion for providing culturally sensitive care to her patients. She was eager to
learn, and was always willing to step up to many challenging situations independently. Sydney calmly
handled the high stressors associated with Level 3 High Risk OB unit. While working with Sydney, I was
able to observe her naturally caring and nurturing personality along with her critical thinking and
organized thought process. Sydney continually searched for new learning opportunities and took
direction extremely well. As a student, Sydney seamlessly entered our unit and was truly a pleasure to
work with. Many of my fellow colleagues enjoyed having Sydney around because of her professional
attitude and nursing knowledge.

I am happy and honored to provide this letter of recommendation for Sydney. I think she would
