my second semester course Nursing Care of the Childbearing Family, and my first semester course
Scholarly Inquiry in Evidence Based Practice, at The University of Arizona College of Nursing.
Sydney was an excellent student in both courses. She is professional, and has strong communication
and interpersonal skills. She has a very positive attitude, and is an engaged, motivated learner.
Additionally, I am Sydneys advisor for her honors thesis that focuses on creating best practice
recommendations for non-pharmacologic interventions for women in labor. Sydney is a member of
Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and will be graduating from the
University of Arizona with Honors. During the fourth semester, Sydney completed a preceptorship
in Labor and Delivery (180 hours). Sydney is a serious student committed to the nursing profession.
