My last holiday

Dear Pasqualina,

how are you? It is so long that we do not feel it. Im going to talk you about my last holiday in Rome.

Last April I went to Rome with my family and other our relatives.
We left on Monday at 4 oclock a.m. by car and we arrived in Rome at 2 oclock p.m. We spent there about
3 days.
We stayed at the hotel Giovanni Paolo II. Itwas big,pretty,clean and very luxury. I was in bedroom with
my cousins Anthony and Marck. On the 1day the weather was cloudy and cold,then it rained.
We left by tram and we saw Colosseum, S.Pietro Square, Castel S. Angelo and Altare of the Homeland.
For lunch we ate in Autogrill at 12.30 and for dinner we ate pasta,meat and chips and we drank water and
coke in a very big famous restaurant and then we went to listened the Renato Zeros concert.
On the 2 day the weather was finally sunny and warm.
We visited Campidoglio, Marcello Theater, imperial holes, Jewish ghetto, Tiberina Island, Jewish museums
and Synagogue.
For lunch we ate a typical roman lunch.
In the afternoon we visited Catacombs of S. Callisto and I bought a souvenir of Pope John Paul II and
Benedetto XVI for my uncle.
Next we visited the centre of Rome: Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and Ponte Milvio
In the evening we ate at my aunts home: she preparated a very good dinner.
Then we visited Piazza di Spagna and . We saw Fontana di Trevi.
After that we went to bed.
On the 3 day We visited Vatican museums and next we visited S.Pietro and then we went shopping to the
bigger Italian shopping centre: it was enourmous a very city!.
We came back on Wednesday and we arrived in Omignano at 23.30.
I like match this weekend in Rome because i love this city with their colours, their flavours and their history.
I hope to return in this city with my school. If you have never been in rome advised not to waste time and
take the first available flight!
