The power and effects of apostolic structures:

An apostolic house needs structure to run effectively. It needs an orderly way of doing things if it is to
achieve its mandate.

Structure refers to the procedures, the way of doing things, the order of doing things, the format of
execution; the solid pillars which are not soft furnishings.

1. The foundation.

The foundation is a very important structural item. Every apostolic house is supposed to founded upon
Jesus Christ. This is a very critical foundational principle and cannot be ignored.

Christ is the solid foundation which every apostolic house must build from.

2. The builders.

The five fold ministry are the builders of the apostolic house and body of Christ. Chief amongst them is
the apostle. He is necessary as he is critical to lay the foundation for the apostolic house. The foundation
is laid by apostles and prophets.

Important components of a solid structure for an apostolic house.

1. God.

In Genesis 1:1 we read, "In the beginning God..". The most critical component of any apostolic house
structure is the placing of God in the beginning. This looks very easy and is assumed to be so. Yet we
notice that in many churches and apostoloc houses, it is not really God first. It is usually the man of God
first.

In a proper structure, all the procedures, actions, principles and activities put God first. God is at the
beginning. God is the starting point. God is the first consideration as the structures are being built.

Apostles and prophets are powerful people. It is very easy to place them at the same level as God in the
structures.

A proper structure successfully isolates the importance of God while respecting the sacrifices of the
builders of the structure.

2. Heavens and the earth.

Any apostolic structure must recognise the 2 aspects of life. The structure must be built with a
recognition that there is heaven. The structure must also recognise that we are still on earth.
It is possible to be heavenly ready but earthly useless. It is also possible to be earthly useful but heavenly
void.

Powerful apostolic structures balance the two aspects of humanity. They help saints to store treasures
in heaven while fulfilling destiny on earth here.

3. The Spirit of God.

Every apostolic structure built must have the Spirit of God in it. We read that the Spirit of God hovered
upon the face of the waters. It is critical to have the ministry and defining presence of the Holy Spirit in
any apostolic house.

We cannot start to speak about the importance of the Holy Spirit. Without Him the may be form, but
power will be lacking.

Today we have many apostolic houses which we now generally call traditional churches. They have great
form, but they lack power because the Holy Spirit is not present in a defining measure. Without Him
there is form, but no power. The structure will live from generation to generation, but it will have no
impact on earth and most likely in heavenly realms also.

4. The Word.

Every apostolic house must have the Word as a critical component of establishing its structure.

The Word here is the Voice of God, the Teaching, The full Bible, the line upon line, precept upon precept
revelation of God.

The Word comes and brings faith. The Word brings light, the Word brings clarity, the Word brings
understanding, the Word releases power, the Word makes the structure. The Word causes all the above
components to produce the Apostolic house into a formidable structure.

In Genesis 1:1-4 we notice the entry of the Word. The Word was in a sense apostolic, cause when it
came it had a mission. The mission was to fulfill something on behalf of the Father who released the
Word.

The Power of an Apostolic Word.

An apostolic house is structured and built through apostolic Words.

We have a number of Apostolic words which can be released into an apostolic structure to build it.
Words from God have the effect of structuring the apostolic house and conform it and align it according
to pattern which God desires.
The different Words which we see the Lord speaking had a specific effect in the earth. This shows the
various teachings, trainings, revelations which must be held precious so that our apostolic houses are
built effectively into a strong structure.

Things which may be present before structuring an

apostolic house
For an apostolic house to prosper and grow there is need for progressive structuring of the House.

In Genesis chapter 1, God made the heavens and the earth. The earth we later realise was without form
and void. It was necessary for the earth to be structured so that it had form and is no longer void.

Before the structuring process, the following were present on the Earth:

1. The Holy Spirit.

A house can value and entertain the Holy Spirit and still not have structure. He was there, He hovered
upon the waters, but because there was no Word to structure the earth. His presence at that moment
did not cause the Earth to be structured.

The Spirit of the Lord's presence is very important. Without Him nothing is possible. Yet without Words
and procedures to structure the earth, He remains there but the earth is still without form and void.

Just because we experience the moves of the Holy Spirit, we swim in the river of His Presence; it doesnt
mean we have form. One can be a good minister for example, flowing amazingly in the Holy Spirit, but
still be without form and when pressed is discovered empty [void].

He is the Spirit of God but He works in line with the Word. Without the Word His Presence doesnt fully
benefit us.

2. Darkness.

The earth had been formed, yet no one could see it. The earth was there but it was covered in darkness.
In fact the darkness was even in the deep. This means it was even in the inner core of the apostolic
house.

Darkness shows us that we can be in a house and be attempting to build a house but no one is seeing
clearly what is going on.

Just because people can sense and experience the Holy Spirit, it doesnt dispel the presence of darkness
upon them. They still cannot see what is going on. Even in their inner man there is darkness and lack of
understanding what is happening.
Effects of structuring an apostolic house.
1. Light

The bible says the entrance of your Word brings light. This is the first effect of releasing Words, training,
teachings, and apostolic revelation to structure a house.

People receive light. The house begins to see clearly what is going on. Everything is exposed and is in the
light to see.

In darkness, even when the Holy Spirit is present, we can do things which do not make sense or have
value. Also even when we are in error, no one is seeing it.

Light starts to bring up issues. Light starts to reveal what is going on.

2. Separation of light and darkness.

The second effect of structuring is that it starts to separate people in the house. There are those who
see and those who do not see.

Those who are in the light begin to notice how things are to be done. They start to realise errors. They
start to notice the deficiencies or proficiencies in the house.

When any church starts to impose structure through bringing the Light of the Word, training, teaching
and revelations, not everyone will understand or see.

This will result in separation. There will be those who may not see. There will be those who will see.

The day starts with night first then daytime. This is grace to show that even those who start not seeing
anything, will later start to see.

3. Separation of waters.

When there was no form and void, all waters were in one place. They was no distinction between the
waters.

When light comes in there is also separation of waters.

We will realise that there is waters above and waters beneath. Not all water is the same.

This shows us that structure comes in and begins to reveal also the different levels people are at.
Without structure we all look the same. With structure rank and file are created. Those above and those
beneath are defined.

Separation of the waters also speaks of the different aspects of life and their importance. There are
things of the earth and things of the heavenly realm. Waters above and waters beneath.
When there is no structure the two are mixed and one cannot tell which is which. An example is
sermons which you cannot see what is more critical the eternal things or the earthly things; the God of
the man or the Man of God.

4. The firmament of separation of waters.

In Hebrews 4: 12 we meet the Word which can divide and actually separate bone and marrow, soul and
spirit.

The firmament speaks of clear definition of differences between ranks and also eternal issues. In a
church without structure, people look the same. Also critical issues are spoken before babes. For
example the Word of God is Milk, Meat at the same time.

Ina proper house, there is differentiation and separation.

5. Exposure of dry land.

Depth is possible only when we have structure. Some potential remain hidden as long as we have no
structure. There are dimensions which will remain pipe dreams as long as we are not well formed and
structured.

It was never known that beneath that water is dry land where life can dwell and flourish.

Certain dimensions and levels of ministerial growth and church growth will never materialize outside
order and structure.

God Himself is extremely particular about order in His church. Without it, His church stays limited. Yes,
we will be having the Spirit of God upon the waters, experiences with His Presence, which is extremely
critical by the way. Yet the Holy Ghost can take us as a church to deep dimensions if we allow
progression in order and structure of His church.

6. Life on dry land.

Only possible when there is structure. This with time will expose churches to realms of ministry and
input. A certain type of believer is only found in certain churches which have reached the level where
dry land is now exposed and present.

It is not possible to have land life when the whole area is covered by water. The presence of land life
implies a structure has adapted and advanced to the place where certain aspects of spiritual life are
exposed.
 7. Different lights for day and night.

The light which governed the day is the sun. The light in the night is the moon. The moon simply reflects
the light of the sun.

There is a code of life which is for those who are enlightened and understand things of God at an
apostolic level.

They can handle the sun and actually benefit from the sun. The sun releases heat, light, ultraviolet
radiation, infrared heat etc. The lifestyle of those who are in the day will be based on this governing light
in their lives.

Those who are still growing, still in the dark on many apostolic issues, their light and compass is the
moon. The moon reflects the light of the sun. Many aspects of the sun, like infrared, ultraviolet
radiation, powerful light, heat are not felt at night.

The position of the moon also affects the amount of sun radiated to light the earth. This is those who
are limited in apostolic understanding. These do not the other aspect of the sun like infrared. As such,
arguments and criticism can arise as those in the dark think those in the light are crazy.

Many apostolic principles are very complex to a simple mind. As such, leaders will give little information
at a time so as to prevent the less mature from exploding.

8. Creation of man.

Structure allows sons to be produced and also structure allow the image or stature of Christ to be
formed. Sons are produced in a house in great number once a certain level is reached.

Genesis 1:26 says, in our image and likeness. Without the prior things happening, sons of that house will
not be in likeness.

Each apostolic house will produce a certain type of son. This son, must resemble the DNA of the house.

9. Rest.

With structure there is rest. With structure the founders are no longer necessary, their absence doesnt
affect the progress of the earth. Founders cease to be necessary when all words have been emptied into
a structure. They can rest and the structure proceeds on its own.

God rested when all was finished.
