INDEMNITY BOND

South Central Railway
Secunderabad.
KNOWN ALL MEN BY these presents that we, Messers ___________ A company
incorporated under the Indian Companies Act. Having our registered office at ________ and
carrying on trade and business at _________, District _______ in the state of ___________
(hereinafter called the obliger) are held firmly bond up to the president of India (herein after
called the South Central Railway, Administration) in the sum of Rs._____ (Rupees_______
only) to be paid in Secunderabad to the SCR Railway Administration for which we hereby
find ourselves for the whole our and each and every of our Executors. Administrators
representatives and assigns up to the SCR Railway Administration firmly by these present
date this_______ day of Two thousand Sixteen.
Whereas the obliger has received the materials as per schedule below from the Chief
Electrical Engineer of the SCR. Railway Administration for the purpose of _______for which
an order No._______ dated ___ has been placed with the obliger by the Chief Mechanical
Engineer of the SCR Railway Administration and has entrusted the obliger shall be entirely
responsible for the safe custody and protection of the materials as per schedules against all
risks till they are delivered dully_______ fit to be put into service and shall Indemnify the
SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY Administration against any loss, damage or deterioration
whatsoever in respect of the said material while the obligors custody and possession and
against disposal of surplus materials and the said materials shall at all times be open to
inspection by an officer authorized by the SCR.
AND further conditions of the above written or obligation are such that, should any loss,
damage or deterioration of materials occur, the SCR Administration shall be entitled to
recover from the obliger full cost of the materials valued at
Rs.______(Rupees_____________ only) as stated without any prejudice to any other
remedies by reduction from any sun due or any sum which at any time hereafter becomes due
to obliger under the above order and /or contract or any other contract and if the obliger shall
at all times hereafter pay or refund to the SCR Railway Administration the said sum of
Rs.________(Rupees______ only) together with all costs, charges ,expenses and interests
and shall otherwise indemnify and save harmless and kept indemnified the SCR Railway
Administration on account of the aforesaid entrustment of materials of the SCR Railway
Administration as per schedule to the obliger.
THEN IN SUCH case the above written bond of obligation shall be void and of no effect,
otherwise the same shall be and remain in full force and nature.
