I appreciate that the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System (SAVAHCS) is
nationally recognized for providing exceptional patient care, teaching future health care
professionals, and valuing the work and dedication of its employees. Your commitment to
providing quality patient care, valuable teaching opportunities, and employee appreciation is
what has attracted me to become a member of this great organization. I will be graduating in
December of 2017 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona.

I have spent the last four years of my life in Tucson, Arizona at the University of Arizona trying
to fulfil my dreams of graduating and becoming a Registered Nurse. Now that the time is near, I
will begin my job search; however, I would like the search to be a short, since I would love to
dedicate myself at providing exceptional care to patients are SAVAHCS by becoming a part of
the team. I have shown interest and initiative of becoming a part of this great organization by
going through the VALOR experience at your facility and by receiving praise from many of your
staff members such as, Barbara OConnor, and Lupita Hoey for my hardwork and commitment
to SAVAHCS.

Furthermore, becoming an exceptional and national leading Veterans Affairs hospital does not
happen overnight, it occurs when challenging work, dedication, and high intellect from staff
members is present. To become a member of SAVAHCS, I understand that much dedication and
commitment would be required from me. Therefore, I believe that my commitment to
community, to providing quality patient care, and to academics would fit finely with the role of a
nurse at SAVAHCS. If selected for a new graduate position at SAVAHCS, you would be
acquiring a driven, knowledgeable, and adaptive individual. Further, I can show my adaptability
by being willing to work in any unit where my help would be needed. The units that interest me
the most are Intensive Care, Dialysis, and Med Surg.

Lastly, I would enjoy the opportunity to speak with a SAVAHCS nurse recruitment staff member
to further discuss my eligibility in interviewing for a new graduate position, if possible. If you
