Are you a sports lover? Do you love the sportspeople in your country? In Australia
they do and theres a great museum in Melbourne all about Australian sport.
The National Sports Museum tells the story of the great moments in Australian
sports history. It also tells the stories of Australias famous sportspeople.
There are many things to do at the museum. You can learn about Australians in the
Olympic Games at the Faster, Higher, Stronger exhibition or you can learn about
Phar Lap, a very special horse from the 1920s at the Multi-Sports exhibition. After
that, you can throw or kick a ball at the Game On interactive gallery. At the museum
cinema, people can watch three short films about different sports. At the shop there
are posters, books and other items. You can also have a meal at one of the cafs
near the museum.
